Once upon a time in Breda there was a DJ named Funkerman. One of his hometown fanboys entered his remix competition and they became friends. The fanboy's name at that particular moment doesn't matter. 
Later on he became known as DANNIC :-)

As things turned out after the remix and a few years of practice Dannic became A much bigger name than his fellow producer. The sound waves he was following were immense and Funkerman couldn't help but to hold on to his beloved house sound that was turning into a niche.
15 years down the line these 2 individuals finally decided to hit the studio because their music paths crossed again. House Music will always be their mutual love.

Fresh off the back of his massive Dannic and Harrison collaboration ‘Mayday’, and his vocal summer anthem ‘I Like You’, California based producer Lucky Date returns to Revealed, this time with label debutant Toby Green in tow. Hunkering down in the studio over the summer, the pair have cooked up a storm with their massive track ‘Firebird’, a mainstage electro anthem that’s bursting with bucket loads of energy.

Stompy percussion, buzzing synth motifs, and dirty basslines, all build into a gritty drop that should whip crowds into a frenzy. ‘’Firebird’ is a track of interesting contrasts, with a mix of elements that offer up plenty of variety. The infectious lead riff has hints of big-room trance, whereas the bass end of the track features plenty of dirty electro charm. On paper, it might sound like an odd mix, but it’s a testament to the duo’s talents in the studio that it works flawlessly well, making for a well rounded and powerful track that delights in throwing surprises at you with every break, build, and drop. It certainly bodes well for the duo’s future, and we can only hope this is the first of many electrifying collaborations between them.

With plenty of support already from the likes of label-boss Hardwell, ‘Firebird’ looks ready to smash its way up the Beatport charts when it drops on October 5th.

After  taking  time  to  launch  his  own  label FONK  Recordings,  long-time  friend  of Revealed Recordings, Dannic, is back to the label that helped establish the Dutch artist as one of the top names in the dance music community. 

After releasing the  massive "Light The Sky" last March on Revealed, Dannic is back with "Blaze", a track that is set to light up the dancefloor and show just  why Dannic  has  made  such  a  name  for  himself over  the  past  few  years  and catapulted  his career into the stratosphere off the back of releasing consistently great music. 

"Blaze" is an anthem of epic proportions, full of soaring pads and rhythmically tribal drumsthat  make  the  track stand  out  as  a early  contender  for one  of  the tracks  of  the  summer.    A playful  melody  glides  around  the  breakdown,  joined  by  a progressive  style  repeating  synth that  opens  up  and  makes  the track come  alive.  A  fake  drop  signals  the  return  of  the  kick  which helps ramp up the tension before the track finally does drop, providing the gritty electro bassline that  makes  the track  pump.  It’s  a welcome  return  to Revealed  for Dannic,  and  fans  will  be hoping they will be hearing more from him on the label in the near future. 

"Blaze" will be available on Revealed Recordings on 6th June!

Dannic, the highly prodigious DJ and producer from Breda in the Netherlands – the hometown of Tiësto and Hardwell - is one of the hottest acts to have emerged from the new generation of Dutch artists breaking through in recent years. His phenomenal rise to #26 in the 2015 DJ Mag Top 100 DJ Poll, a 4 place rise after a sensational jump of 34 places in the 2014 poll to #30, following his #74 debut back in 2013 confirms to tastemakers that he is set to remain a driving force within the scene. Daan Romers (in real life) won the Dancetour DJ contest in 2009 and a slot playing his productions to an audience of 10,000 people. As Dannic says “It's funny because a lot of people know me as a producer but I like to see myself as a DJ who started producing”. With the pinnacle of the tour being a main stage set at Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas, Dannic has undeniably joined the upper echelons of the dance music scene.
