HARDWELL RELEASES REMIX OF KREWELLA'S #1 DANCE HIT "ALIVE"

Dutch dancefloor destroyer Hardwell has been on a tour de force of late. In a week that saw Hardwell reach 500,000 followers on Twitter. After breaking viewer figures for the most watched liveset at Ultra Music Festival Miami and trending around the world on Twitter, the Breda born superstar then went and took Coachella by storm with another highest ranked liveset of weekend #1 of the iconic California based festival. During his explosive Coachella performance Hardwell debuted his infectious remix of Krewella's breakout single, 'Alive'.

"I love to do remixes of original tracks I really love. And I was already playing Alive." said Hardwell in an interview with Krewella, which debuts on vevo today. "I love the vocals. I love the chords. I think the song is perfect. I fell in love with the song when I heard it for the first time." 

Back in March, Hardwell passed the torch for Best Breakthrough Artist at the International Dance Awards to electropunk trio, Krewella. This year, he takes the IDMA for Best Remixer (and Best European DJ) and affirms his title with this booming, big-room house remix of 'Alive', which debuted this past Friday on Pete Tong's infamous BBC1 Radio Show and was released for sale exclusively on Beatport today.

The stage is now most definitely set for what will be the biggest Hardwell summer ever!

Dannic, the highly prodigious DJ and producer from Breda in the Netherlands – the hometown of Tiësto and Hardwell - is one of the hottest acts to have emerged from the new generation of Dutch artists breaking through in recent years. His phenomenal rise to #26 in the 2015 DJ Mag Top 100 DJ Poll, a 4 place rise after a sensational jump of 34 places in the 2014 poll to #30, following his #74 debut back in 2013 confirms to tastemakers that he is set to remain a driving force within the scene. Surging his way to the forefront of the booming electronic scene and making his mark not only on Revealed Recordings throughout his career but also blazing a trail with the launch of his own imprint FONK Recordings, Dannic has managed to cast off previous associations and step forward as a respected artist in his own right, repeatedly blowing away fans with a slew of sensational releases, collaborations and of course, titanic DJ shows.

Daan Romers (in real life) won the Dancetour DJ contest in 2009 and a slot playing his productions to an audience of 10,000 people. As Dannic says “It's funny because a lot of people know me as a producer but I like to see myself as a DJ who started producing”. With the pinnacle of the tour being a main stage set at Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas, Dannic has undeniably joined the upper echelons of the dance music scene. This unrelenting schedule has been interspersed with dates across the globe and appearances at the summer’s hottest festivals including spell binding sets at Electric Zoo, Ultra Music Festival, Electric Daisy Carnival, Tomorrowland, Mysteryland, Dance Valley and TomorrowWorld.
