This work combined interview recordings, AI voice generation and archival news clips to capture the vitality of Riis Beach for the queer community in New York. A space that is constantly under threat from those in power but continues to be fought for. 

This moment in time was contentious for the future of the space as the abandoned hospital building behind it was being demolished, with property developers and conservative council members eyeing off the space this moment marked another point where this special space of community is under threat.
