To celebrate the release of NICK PRIDE & THE PIMPTONES' album "Midnight Feast Of Jazz" and launch second single "Lay It On The Line feat. Zoe Gilby", RK recently partnered with Giant Step, Blues&Soul, Funku, InZona Mag, Soul Kombinat, Acid Jazz Hispano, Iyezine and Popcorner (Radio Rai 2) to put together a remix competition of "Lay It On the Line". Now, after 2 months of submissions and a truly remarkable amount of great remixes, the winner has finally been chosen! And it is......some suspense please.....a tie!!!! Both DJ/producer from San Diego Danny Massure with his latin-funk inspired remix and UK duo James Beige with their bossanova flavored version came out with top notch work we could not chose between. So now, exclusively via Digital Download here at the RK webshop, we proudly present the "Lay It On The Line EP", with the original album version (watch the VIDEO below!), alongside the 2 remixes.
