Julian Jeweil, a French artist based in southern France and Berlin, is one of the most talked about underground Techno artists. He found his signature sound through his various productions and live sets, all characterized by a melodic style of techno.

After a couple of releases on Cocoon Recordings, Skryptöm, Plus8 Rec,  Minus & Form Music, he is about to release his third Masterpiece EP on Popof’s imprint.

The EP opens with Agnelli's remix of "Resist", this track is a muscular and stomping. He catches the originals mood and transforms it into a spectacular version that will leave the dance floor in ashes. BIG! The original version of 'Resist'  it's a funky and driving technostomper with house chords that creates an obsessive and powerful rhythm, accompanied with a hypnotic vocal saying 'Resist' in132bpm!
The B side continues with the original version of 'Hope' which got a melody in the best Detroit tradition and powerful 808 drums. A stripped dark atmosphere ensure a breathless pace, to the final second. 
Finally, Electric Rescue morphs this one into a powerful loopy journey, A synth hellfire as it's best.
All of them are already Berghain approved and rocked countless other floors.

Analytic comes back with a new figure in the family, label boss Markantonio brought directly from Spain Maae. The Spanish producer is born and raised in the Barcelona techno scene, he began his Dj Career in 2000 until 2010 when he started his own label Metodiq. Today he continues his collaborations and productions on different labels like MB Elektronics, Rhythm Converted, Driving Forces, !Organism and many more. Now is the time for Analytictrail and Maae took to Neapolitan label a fresh EP called Close To Ground that includes four original tracks.

Close to the ground is the namesake track of the EP and is a classic underground straight Techno track made by old school chords, heavy bassline and distorted nasty kick. 

Klon is a Techno spacey bouncing track, made by a plastic groove surrounded by synth bells and Detroit styles chords. 

Private Mod is the right mix of classic Techno track with rounding deep bass and strong kick fused with house vocal melodies from 90s.

Resolution has a pumped kick and dark bass, the listener can be dropped in a timeless journey driven by the Chicagos Techno school chords.

For sure another top quality work released by one of the most representative labels in the music industry and produced by a very good musician that deserves respect of all Techno lovers out there.

The Drumcode A-Sides compilation is quickly becoming an important fixture within the techno world as a go to compilation for the hottest tracks. Mixing both highly experienced and new artists helps to bring a new dimension to the compilation that makes it such a special array of tracks. All tracks individual, their unique characters bring an outstanding and electrifying aspect to the compilation that as a whole makes it something extremely special.

Alan Fitzpatrick - Eternia - Drumcode - DC152

Legendary Italian techno label Unrilis, founded by top producer Rino Cerrone and A&R’ed by Luigi Madonna & Roberto Capuano, turns 10 in 2016, and this next EP is the first of many special anniversary releases planned by the label. It comes from acclaimed talent Enrico Sangiuliano and features a stunning remix by Mark Reeve.

Enrico Sangiuliano came up through illegal raves and is now a top DJ who plays all over the world and has his music played by the likes of Adam Beyer and Sven Vath. He has had the longest ever running techno number one on Beatport (his remix of ‘Can You Hear Me’ for DJ Boris on Alleanza) and is one of the best selling artists on the site at any one time. His music comes on Cocoon and Drumcode amongst others, and is powerful, direct stuff for the dance floor.

Written entirely in Italy, “X-Pollination (or cross-pollination) is fundamentally the key factor of growth, consciousness and life,” says the artist. “It’s the way I connect with people, share my passion, fly from one place to another and put many influences and elements into my music.”

The title track is eight minutes of slow burning but hypnotic techno funk with rolling rubber drums and nervy pads. Frazzled synths add post apocalyptic vibes to this main room anthem and many well crafted peaks and troughs along the way help make it even more standout. It is a real techno classic in the making.

Mark Reeve is the UK star who remixes. He has a long history with techno that goes back to the rave scene. Since then his education has taken in trips to techno mecca The Omen, has resulted in music on Cocoon and collabs with Pig & Dan. He has also released on Drumcode and has a big rolling sound that fills the world’s finest clubs and warehouses with his unique grooves. His take on the original is more energetic, with searing synths, cantering kicks and a dark energy that makes you pump your fist and stomp the floor. It is full of drama and is perfect balanced from start to finish.

This is another fine release in a landmark year for one of techno’s most consistent performers.

‘We Do What We Want’ will be the first release on Alan Fitzpatrick's We Are The Brave label. A cut that took on a life of its own after fan videos from Junction 2 and Hideout Festival sparked hysteria among followers on Twitter for the as-then unnamed track.

Finally revealed during BBC Radio 1’s broadcast of Alan’s set from Hideout Festival, ‘We Do What We Want’ is a euphoric slice of summer rave that’s already showing signs of being Fitzpatrick's biggest track to date.
