I am beginning to explore this beautiful Handpan and got lost in a choral exchange with the crickets after midnight here at my new home that I've dubbed 'Cynefin Canopy'. This is a 20 minute handpan journey made in the wee hours of the night. Magic swirling all around..... just allowing the inner light to manifest itself upon the steel through my hands.....

Resonant Manifestation

This is a track named "Evolution". This is the first recording from my own "Cynefin Studios". It's a raw cut, taken from a single 2 hour take, while recording in the early a.m. hours. This song represents change and evolution, both in my own world personally and musically, but also in the world of the Handpan. Change is inevitable. Communities grow, perhaps become more diluted in their own natural growth. With change comes new beginnings, new frontiers, new music, new mindsets. Sometimes when change sweeps through and new beginnings take hold, we forget the first beginnings. The history. Places where bonds and conflicts were birthed. Evolution seeks to engage in that change, but to our better ends, whilst not forgetting our roots, our ancestors, our beginnings. Chaos is the harbinger of change. But from it, peace can grow.
