This month Laidback Luke provides the People of Tomorrowland with a special episode dedicated to his favourite Tomorrowland moments. You will be taken all the way back to the beginning of the Tomorrowland story. Laidback Luke provides music from 2006 up until the present, guiding you through the coming of age of the festival, from the first editions to the iconic Tomorrowland festival as we know it today.

From his own point of view, the host shares anecdotes about playing a show in the Rave Cave disguised as an older man, superhero costumes and more inside information you don't want to miss. Anamē is a Swedish production duo made up of Marcus Schossöw (also known as gardenstate) and Thomas Sagstad. Their friendship emerged from the wave of underground house music that hit Scandinavia in the early 2000s. The duo early on released multiple genre-crossing collaborations on legendary Global Underground and Ministry Of Sound before embarking on their solo careers. Their solo careers have taken them worldwide, working with celebrated artists like Swedish House Mafia, Tiësto, Kaskade, Dirty Vegas, and touring the continents for almost two decades. Throughout their careers, the guys stayed best friends - working with each other both on stage and behind the scene.

RECURSION is a conceptual dub techno album trapped inside its own loop, a system that keeps rebooting, breaking, and rebuilding itself from the same decaying fragments.
Each track is constructed from the same source materials — identical samples, tones, and rhythms — yet each composition bends them differently, creating the illusion of change within the same recursive pattern.

Through hypnotic repetition, granular textures, and distorted echoes, the album questions the very idea of progress:

Is there evolution, or only reconfiguration?
Is this a new beginning, or the same cycle with a new mask?
When the loop calls, will you answer — or end the song?

Across its five phases — INITIATE, GLITCH MEMORY, PHANTOM STATE, THRESHOLD FAILURE, and REINITIATE — RECURSION traces the spiral descent of a collapsing system.
It’s a meditation on memory, error, and identity loss; an exploration of what happens when the loop becomes the only form of existence.

Minimal yet heavy, rhythmic yet dissolving, the sound design blurs the boundary between mechanical, analog and organic.
Each track feeds back into itself — decaying, evolving, corrupting — until all distinctions vanish in the noise.
