HYPE TECHNO 2024

Hello my friends, 

I am back with another HYPE Techno Podcast, but this time, it will be special. Very special. Because it wont be a techno. Do you remember me telling you that I was playing on Sardinia and Egypt last year? Those were summer beach clubs, and of course, my usual techno didnt fit there, so I had to be softer. I played tech house, progressive house and also tracks found on Beatport in category melodic house and techno. And actually, I started to love some tracks so much, that I ve decided to start to playing progressive house again. As some of you know, I played progressive when I started to DJ, approximately since 2008 to 2011. I loved it and I still do! Thats why I want to introduce you my new DJ alter ego, BRIGHT. 

BRIGHT will be melodic, BRIGHT will be slower, BRIGHT will be emotions, and primarily the house music. Danny Bright will stay Techno, pure energy, the peak time pump. 

This is the first set of my alter ego BRIGHT. I selected for this special set the best tracks I heard in 2021, and couple from 2022. 

There is a music from Zac, Zagitar, Hanz Zimmer, Jonas Saalbach, Camelphat, Christoph, Maceo Plex, Paradox or Moonwalk. Are You ready? So lets start! Be prepared for true melodies and pure emotions.

I am not saying I wont play anything else, because I think DJ needs to be flexible and play the set based on the event type, set time and the audience, but this is the sound I enjoy playing the most for last 6 months. Hey, hi, hello, and thank you for tuning to my new set. Look forward to my new sound and my new track. I've been wandering between many techno subgenres for the last 2 years, playing and producing different stuff, but inside I was still unsure. But since the beginning of 2024 I started to get more and more clear view, the production started to go more into one direction and that eventually defined my new sound. I would like to introduce You something I want to call TECHNO 2.0. A mix of modern hard-techno with elements of Acid, Hardstyle, Hardcore and Psy-Trance. The energy and diversity is what I like most about it. I believe you will feel the same way. I've been working on the third track Ambitions for the last few months and I'm finally happy with it, so I hope you'll like it too. Čau, ahoj, zdravím tě a děkuju ti, že ladíš můj nový set. Těš se nový sound i nový track. Poslední 2 roky jsem bloudil mezi mnoha techno subžánry, hrál i produkoval různé věci, ale vnitřně jsem si stále nebyl jistý. Od začátku roku 2024 jsem ale začínal mít čím dál tím jasněji, produkce se začala ubírat stále výrazněji jedním směrem a to nakonec definovalo i můj nový sound. Rád bych Vám představil něco čemu chci říkat TECHNO 2.0. Mix moderního hard-techna s prvky Acidu, Hardstyle, Hardcore a Psy-Trancu. Ta energie a různorodost mě na tom baví asi nejvíc. Věřím, že to budeš cítit stejně. Na třetím tracku Ambitions jsem dělal několik posledních měsíců a konečně jsem s ním spokojený, tak doufám se bude líbit i tobě.
