In this episode had presenting tracks from Space 92, Cosmic Boys, Broken Robot, Maxie Devine, Rebuke, Sam Paganini, Nicolas Taboada, Mha Iri, Victor Ruiz, NoNameLeft, Bart Skills, HOF, Eli Brown, ADHS and Monika Kruse. So, plenty of quality techno. 

Since this episode I want to introduce you to two new things. First, every next episode I will try to play one track which was influential to me during my techno career. I will call it a piece of history. For this episode, I have chosen Monika Kruse's Latin Lovers. It is a fantastic track which influenced me a lot. I still enjoy playing it after 10 years. Second, I want to start helping producers in my country. I think the Czech Republic does have great DJs and producers, but unfortunately, non of them has yet penetrated the international DJ scene too deep. However, I am sure this will change very soon because I see better and better tracks being produced here! Today I am presenting 2 tracks from my friend Broken Robot aka Golpe. So watch out.

It is October and I am back with another tribute episode of HYPE Techno Podcast. This time, I wanted to make a tribute to Reinier Zonneveld. I have invited Reinier to my Hype Techno Event back in 2018 in Brno, Czech Republic, I had a pleasure to have few drinks with him, do some good chatting, little party, and I have to say, that he is really amazing, smart, dexterous, and open minded guy. But honestly, since then, he has done truly unbelievable progress. Starting with a lot of great work on his label Filth on Acid where he progressed in the same time as a producer and released tracks even with big non-techno names such as Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Angerfist, Tinlicker, or Oliver Heldens in his techno alter ego HI-Lo. He also remixed tracks for Stephan Bodzin, CamelPhat, Carl Cox, Sharam and many others. We see the impact of his continuous work and actions primarily on his DJ progress. It is awesome how quickly he became strong part of the top Techno DJ crew and how often we see him on all great festivals. His sets are inspirational for me and I always enjoy his live performances and injections of crazy old melodies or vocals to his techno sets. What I personally mainly value is that his progress is not artificial, or created by others for their business benefit as was done for some other current techno DJs on HYPE. From my humble opinion, he fully deserves where he is since the amount of effort, musician professionalism, analysis, data insight, PR, product management, marketing and effectivity he has done with his team is tremendous! Therefore let me make a tribute to Reinier Zonneveld by this episode of Hype Techno Podcast, where I have selected my favourite tracks from his current portfolio, and mixed them with focus, passion and joy.

For this episode, I have chosen as Yimanya from Filterheadz. It is phenomenal track with brilliant melody. I remember hearing it for my first me on one of my club parties. Into Czech Techno Showcase I have selected two tracks from my friend and great Czech Producer DJ Subgate. As the last track, into the Piece of History chapter, I have added my favourite 2010 producer, Jerome Isma AE together with Tomcraft and their track Trouble in the Red-light District. When hearing this name now after being on that street, I started to wonder if guys really had some troubles in the Red-light District or the name of the song is just coincidence, what do you think? But since the beginning of 2024 I started to get more and more clear view, the production started to go more into one direction and that eventually defined my new sound. I would like to introduce You something I want to call TECHNO 2.0. A mix of modern hard-techno with elements of Acid, Hardstyle, Hardcore and Psy-Trance. The energy and diversity is what I like most about it. I believe you will feel the same way. Čau, ahoj, zdravím tě a děkuju ti, že ladíš můj nový set. Těš se nový sound i nový track. Poslední 2 roky jsem bloudil mezi mnoha techno subžánry, hrál i produkoval různé věci, ale vnitřně jsem si stále nebyl jistý. Od začátku roku 2024 jsem ale začínal mít čím dál tím jasněji, produkce se začala ubírat stále výrazněji jedním směrem a to nakonec definovalo i můj nový sound. Rád bych Vám představil něco čemu chci říkat TECHNO 2.0. Mix moderního hard-techna s prvky Acidu, Hardstyle, Hardcore a Psy-Trancu. Ta energie a různorodost mě na tom baví asi nejvíc. Věřím, že to budeš cítit stejně. Na třetím tracku Ambitions jsem dělal několik posledních měsíců a konečně jsem s ním spokojený, tak doufám se bude líbit i tobě.
