The guest mix in the second hour is by Mondo whose from Brooklyn, New York City. He learnt to DJ from an early age but began a successful legal career and music took a back seat. He returned in 2013, creating a weekly podcast, Gravity Radio, syndicated to 50 radio stations around the world. He began producing music in 2018 and has had tracks signed to Tronic, Shodan and many other labels. He began a new event, NØ POLITIK, in Brooklyn this September and DJ’d at two events at this years’ Amsterdam Dance Event.

Techno guest mix for UDGK

It is January, so it is time of New Year resolutions, fresh starts, fresh energy, new goals, new ideas, and new beginnings. I am personally still working on my New Year resolution, slowly filling in all the areas I would like to improve on all aspects of my life and then I am gonna turn it into daily, weekly and monthly habits. It is not an easy exercise to be honest, but smart people say it works, so lets see. Also, I have several exciting objectives with HYPE Techno brand and You will learn about it very very soon. But now, to the music! In compare with last month and fast hypnotic raw techno, this month I made rather selection of quite melodic, but still very strong and heavy tracks. 

Expect sound of Teenage Mutants, AKKI, Dok and Martin, Alignment, Umek, The Yellowheads, Layton Giordani, Sara Simonit, HOF, Kai Tracid, A*S*Y*S, and Mau P in Reinier Zonneveld remix. Within Czech Techno showcase  we have another friend of mine, Mr. Ian Kita and his unreleased track Spooky Lights. As piece of history I have added OXIA - Domino, one of my favourite set finishing tracks I was used to play as the last one. So this is January episode.

Poslední 2 roky jsem bloudil mezi mnoha techno subžánry, hrál i produkoval různé věci, ale vnitřně jsem si stále nebyl jistý. Od začátku roku 2024 jsem ale začínal mít čím dál tím jasněji, produkce se začala ubírat stále výrazněji jedním směrem a to nakonec definovalo i můj nový sound. Rád bych Vám představil něco čemu chci říkat TECHNO 2.0. Mix moderního hard-techna s prvky Acidu, Hardstyle, Hardcore a Psy-Trancu. Ta energie a různorodost mě na tom baví asi nejvíc. Věřím, že to budeš cítit stejně. Na třetím tracku Ambitions jsem dělal několik posledních měsíců a konečně jsem s ním spokojený, tak doufám se bude líbit i tobě.
