Another Belgian legend joins our ranks: Zolex!

Frank Struyf aka Zolex is a true legend in the Belgian clublife.
Nineties resident in two of the most notorious clubs in Belgium, Globe & Carat, and a highly wanted guest all over Belgium and abroad.
Despite his busy DJ schedule Frank still finds the time to produce his own sounds. In 1993 he created Zolex’s “Time Modulator”, a timeless classic, next to 'Beautifull Inside', 'The Message' and many others. He also ran his own imprints such as 'Zolex Records' and 'Dark Kitchen Recordings' with styles ranging from Electronic, House, Trance to Techno. His signature sound is hard to pinpoint but the dark side of electronic music is never far off.

'Mind'Fuck EP' brings us 2 strong techno bangers, 'Mind'Fuck' & 'Where's the Fuck' plus Dyonix on remix duties for the title track.
Dark, gritty and so good it will light up the dark side for sure.

At this moment, still producing and releasing exclusively with my own publishing (DCGUESS), so no licenses nor releases on other labels, compilations, streaming, ... no remixes for others (maybe except for my heroes), no remixes from my tracks done by others nor covers or edits, no DJ-mixes, no birthday parties, no "pensenkermissen" (never did by the way). Other persons, publishers, labels,... can 't clear my tracks/samples by the way... I'm the owner of all master-records, publishing rights and author-composer rights from all my previous tracks on Big Time International also (Gravity, Tructure, ...) and all my new releases, so, everything is very clear and will not be discussed any more. This is all due in part because of my lifetime experience in the scene, blame them and not me.

Bio:

Started with music in ’84. Music is the biggest love of my life together with my Rottweiler Guess that I still miss every day.

Joined the group H-Berion who played French Rock (à la Bérurier Noir) as a 2nd guitarist with guitarist Mario Vankerkhove, singer Stéphane Froidcoeur aka Deranged Psyche and a drum machine.

Experimented with limited set-up (cheap drum machines, 0.8-second sampler, 2-track reel to reel recorder, ...)

Released my first e.p. in 1993, Slam Trax - Blow acid that became a classic.

Joined Big Time International in 1994, released a whole string of projects on Re-load records (Trax-X, Atom-X) as well as on Nitric and 21st Century. A track from Atom-X's Proton 99 e.p. was also used for the publicity for Party Zone on MTV that was played several times a day. Molecule 66 became also a classic e.p.

Started to work for Frank Van Brussel on the labels Future Frontier, Subsounds, Minimalistix & Future Galactic under the name of Dj Argonic: lots of releases followed. Always a pleasure to work with him. 

I also released stuff on: Guess records, Pure Dance, MB-Elektronics, Session Recordings, Forcefield, Invasion, Audio Illusion Recordings, ...

After several years of producing for numerous labels, DJ Chich and I decided that it was time to found our own label "Blackpitchmusic". Chich and I came from a long way. 

Many productions have been charted in many famous DJs play lists such as Dave Clark, Laurent Garnier, Carl Cox, ... Still being played in well know DJs their sets and still demanded for compilations.

I started a couple years ago with DIY synths, FX, Modular,...  so I'm building stuff to use in my own productions and a lot is coming up!

Still love to make tracks since the beginning, so, this will going on till the end of my life.
