I am so incredibly excited to release the first single from my new EP "Drowning Among my Friends" which is a track called Black Skies // Bloody Eyes. I wrote this song because I wanted a continuation of the sequence I created on the opening track of my first EP. This song was inspired by the rushing sounds of sailing along open waters and the impending sense of doom you can feel when you look up and see a black sky ahead of you. Heavy and drowsy, I wrote this one to hit hard.

Drowning Among my Friends EP liner notes:
This song came together in about a day and a half.  Once I created the heavy synth in the drop the entire song basically wrote itself around that sound.  I originally was going to drop Saturn's Return as the first song from the EP but when I finished this one I knew it would be a great intro to this entire body of music.
