A rising talent within Australia’s bustling house scene and beyond, emerging Melbourne-based DJ and producer Somersault has continued his impressive form throughout last year into 2020 as he continues to garner support from a host of the industry’s leading names. Following on from recent outings on the likes of META, Rawsome Deep and Madtech records, he now arrives to make his debut on Audiojack’s Gruuv imprint as he delivers his latest EP, ‘Come Inside’.
Lead track ‘Come Inside’ welcomes a hypnotic journey through bubbling basslines, echoed vocal samples and bright key leads, whilst ‘Say Anything’ ups the tempo as dubby chord are balanced with rich organ stabs, guided by slick percussion shots and further vocal work throughout. To close, the impressive ‘Yousful’ harnesses an acid-licked bassline at its core before introducing punchy drums and bright electronics to round out proceedings in style.
