Born in whiter-than-white Boulder, CO, raised in whiter-than-that Orange County, CA, Danny Love was nevertheless a soul man with a hard-on for James Brown and the Jackson 5. Raised in the hothouse of funk, he was by the late -1980's a ready recruit for hip-hop - and that, he says, is when he started spinning records. He kept spinning throughout college (he's a UCLA history grad), where he merged seamlessly into the burgeoning Southern California rave/club scene. Hip-hop, house, techno - "Soul," he says, "is still the root of all the music I love to play."
 	
Today, with over 15 years of experience behind the decks, Danny Love is still making booties shake wherever he plays. He was there from the very beginning as one of the original resident DJ's of Club Rubber. Since then Club Rubber and their other two club brands, Summer of Love and Pimp ‘N Ho Costume Ball, have grown into the USA's largest touring nightclubs, selling out shows of up to 10,000 people in cities all around the United States. "Rubber," he says, "has definitely been a big deal for me-because of the exposure through Club Rubber, I have been given the opportunity to share the bill with some amazing DJ's." Those DJ's include Paul Oakenfold, Carl Cox, Donald Glaude, Tiesto, Christopher Lawrence, Bad Boy Bill, Kaskade and Deep Dish to name a very few.

Although his DJ schedule regularly finds him "spreadin' the Love" in cities such as San Diego, Phoenix, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Miami and Los Angeles, he is forced to balance the travel with no less than 3 ongoing residencies in the LA/Orange County area. Those residencies presently include Taboo @ Heat Ultra Lounge, essenCHILL @ Memphis Cafe, and his long running electronic music club, Bristol Sessions @ Detroit Bar.

Born out of his need to expand artistically, the Bristol Sessions, which takes place monthly at the Detroit Bar, has become Danny Love's main outlet for the music he calls Future Funk--a blend of deep, sexy house, trip-hop, and soul. It is here that he regularly invites some of his personal favorite DJ's, such as Mark Farina, Andy Caldwell, Julius Papp, Marques Wyatt, Miguel Migs and Charles Feelgood to share their talents with the appreciative Friday night crowd.

After ending the year with an amazing gig NYE 2010 at the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego, Danny Love is putting the finishing touches on his latest mix-CD entitled ‘Just Love’, and getting ready to "bring the Love" to a dance floor near you!
