Early pioneer of electronic ambiant music in the San Francisco Bay area 1980's, Jon Lax utilized AM and FM synthesizers, electric guitar, drum machines, congas, and woodwinds for these early recordings. Recorded live sessions, using analog stereo tape bouncing on 2 mastering tape machines considered archaic in todays studios, but offers a layored "live" anaolg sound depth, not able to replicate with modern digital multitrack recordings.
