I’ve always been incredibly inspired by film composer Hans Zimmer.  His scores and, furthermore, ability to impart such passion and emotion through his music are what first ignited the musical spark within myself - I wanted to have that same effect on people with my own music.

I’ve always loved his instrumental song ‘Time’ from the movie Inception.  Those four, repeating chords create such a unique and grandiose landscape as they cascade upwards, building and building with each successive cycle.  Hans’ version served as the inspiration for ours, but we took it one step further, adding our own original lyrics and melodies.  What resulted was an interpolation written about the beautiful but devastating effect that time, loss and love have on all of us.

An homage to the 2001 alt-pop hit by Train, our version of "Drops of Jupiter" takes the yearning, nostalgia and passion of the lyrics and sets them against an interstellar backdrop that is as explosive as it is emotional.
