granola was written to question why everybody cares so much about other peoples shit. living in la it seems like all anyone talks about is what they perceive of other peoples lives. i can’t even tell you how many times i’ve heard bitches talk about how “becky’s hair extensions don’t even match her real hair” lol, like why does that even matter? becky’s chillin. anyways, i wanted to create a song for people like me who genuinely don’t give a fuck about what other people are doing and try to shift that energy into a more loving and accepting one.

He represents those who share his experience of being born into the middle ground. In addition to building up representation for Hispanic-Americans, Schiller is a uniting force at the international level by connecting the dots between art scenes in Spain, Latin America, and the United States. Inspired by Rosalia, Kali Uchis, and Omar Apollo, Schiller emulates the hybrid-nature of their artistry, bridging the gaps between cultural worlds.
