Once again Danse Club Records have unearthed a forgotten and sorely overlooked house track here, then they have enlisted a fine pair of contemporary producers – Sqim and Deepchild - to remix it and bring it right up to date. The original, ‘Who’s Dick Is This’ is a 1994 kicking house bomb by the mysterious Princess Di, who released but three EPs during the 90s on Music Station with this track being the pick of the bunch.

German producer Sqim is associated with labels like Exploited and Play It Down and firstly offers up a Ghetto Mix of the track. The result is a big and physical house track with sleazy samples, heavyweight drums and a kinetic energy throughout.

The warm up mix by the same man is a much deeper affair, as you’d expect from the name. This one resides in a much warmer and more inviting groove and is coloured with deft synths as it slowly builds in phases. The elastic vocals dart about above the drums, bringing with them a lively sense of soul and funk before Deepchild offers his own two unique versions.

From quirky, stripped-back techno injected with soul to deep, dub-inflected excursions, Berlin based Australian Deepchild can do it all. Here he offers his ‘Cockumentary Retug’ a ragged and raging techno version riddled with spoken word samples culled from a documentary about penis size. Its dark and involving and sure will get great reactions on the floor.

The final version is a straight dub that journeys in a heavy groove, has some weird spoken word snippets melted into it and is lit up with some celestial synth patterns in the latter half.

Another great find by Danse Club complemented by some choice remixes adds up to yet another essential release from this ever more impressive label.

San Francisco's PillowTalk are the trio that make indie/dance and nu disco house in the most beautiful way. They are as at home crafting 80s­ inspired synth­pop, as they are creating psychedelic funk and the classic rock and roll rhythms. PillowTalk also comfortably produce slow electronic ballads and now, the ultra-melodic three piece announce their debut LP 'Je Ne Sais Quoi'. Due for release via Wolf + Lamb, Je Ne Sais Quoi is a fine work of art that demonstrates the mastery of the trio in their finest form. To coincide with this special announcement, they've delivered the first in their new '70s radio inspired podcast series, 'Back to the Future Radio'. Lock in and enjoy some pure PillowTalk passion.

Never getting stuck in fads Darius Syrossian is an artist who prefers to ignore fads and genre names, to him, everything stems from House and Techno and those are the only two genre names he considers important. Already an established name as a DJ and producer Darius has become well known for his own sound over the years, he is also known for his successful A&R role for the Do Not Sleep label. The party series for the label will be taking up a new residency this summer at Space Ibiza. On top of the weekly party series he is regularly releasing and remixing on a crop of key underground labels. Never stopping and always hard at work Darius Syrossian is one name that we are sure to see for years to come. 

Now joining the Mobilee crew with a release on Leena Music, Darius Syrossian presents two solid tracks aimed for peak time dance floor action, Darius has actually sampled the ‘howling' noise made by recent storms in Manchester to create the lead synth throughout the track and also used the organic wind sounds to make the percussion, instantly grabbing the attention of the listener with a modern take on classic house and techno sounds he creates a one of a kind evolved sound. This sound invokes feelings of joy as these tracks take you on an adventure that will leave a lasting impression as moments in a set that bring the most delight. 'Beetham Tower' was actually made especially for his upcoming set at The Warehouse Project in his native Manchester. Naturally sampling a piece of Manchester architecture makes this mixture of organic and technical creativity a release that's going down a storm at his sets.

Locker Room Records are proud to present the premier release of London based production duo, Second Nature, with their debut EP entitled 'Day and Night'.  Featuring two tracks of pure underground energy, this release is certainly not to be missed.  

The first track, 'Seduction' features prominent vocals, along with a strong beat and grooving bassline.  'ADL' gives us a deep rolling bass, cutting percussive elements and the dark vocals of Phizi.  A perfect track for stepping things up into the after-hours.  Both tracks provide a great vibe and definitely make a statement on the dancefloor.
