My best friend LUCY SMITH said to me once "I wish you played more songs I know"
So for a year I have worked on this mix of House songs that hopefully you will know that were a massive influence on me

Starting in 1983 spanning 3 decades each one of the 33 songs has been re-edited by myself, some only last 30 seconds, some longer, the last has deliberately been left to play in its entirety and is the only one not in chronological order as it was Lucy's favourite

This is just a little bit of fun all in loving memory of Lucy who died in 2006

Dan started his venture into the dance scene in the summer of 2000. His friends took him to Brighton and to his first ever club night. The night was Bedrock and the Dj John Digweed, needless to say he was hooked!

Pretty soon he took up the decks and was on a mission to develop his unique sound. Six months later he put on his first gig with a few friends in tow, the night was great fun and inspired Dan to do more. Six months after that he threw his first Club night Local People, by 10:30pm the club was at capacity and a resounding success.

Later on that year Mezzé was born a unique night which saw Dan warm up for the likes of Nils Hess, Nathan Coles and Terry Francis as well as being a headline act himself. After 18 months as a resident Dan again stepped up his game with a warm up set for Craig Richards of Tyrant fame on a 19th century fort in the middle of the sea for the infamous Invaders party, which was critically acclaimed.

In 2008 Dan became the summer resident at the biggest club in Tenerife, Tramps. Playing 6 nights a week in the back room alongside big nights and names like Gatecrasher, Hed Kandi, Judge Jules, John Kelly Jeremy Healy.

Since coming back to London in 2009 Dan has again set up a new weekly event HEADSPACE, located at the renowned 93 Feet East on Brick Lane, at which he is a resident. HEADSPACE is a free Saturday daytime party and has received a great response which has led to gigs at The Egg and for Lunar @ Mango in Reading.

In the last few months Dan has accepted a weekly radio show on Totaljam.co.uk playing every Monday 8pm-10pm.
