The fifth release on Artificial Acoustical Ambience Records welcomes DanSonic back to the label for a new single. 2015 was a momentous year for the Swiss artist and AAAR label boss. In addition to releasing six new original productions DanSonic remixed KellAr 'The Way' for Germany's long standing Jetlag Digital imprint. Now as 2016 enters its second quarter we find DanSonic emerging from a winter of fruitful studio work with his first single of year. The Swiss producer's diehard fan base has been waiting six long months for new material and 'Desert Dunes' is the first in what promises to be a great year of new music.

As one of the underground's most versatile artists you can never be sure what to expect from DanSonic. Stylistic blueprints aside the one key element separating the Swiss artist is his emotive production qualities. On the aptly titled 'Desert Dunes' we find DanSonic going deep and soulful with chunky, laid back grooves and summery motifs. Tough kicks and mountainous bass tones carve out the rolling foundation, while shimmering melodies and playful arpeggios float effortlessly over the top. A well timed break brings a moment of serenity before a tasteful re-entry introduces a lush tonal theme resulting in an exhilarating conclusion. A wonderful production from DanSonic and with the spring club season just around the corner you can expect to be hearing this one a lot in the coming months. Don't miss it.
