✦ The Low Down ✦

DJ Ipcress (Chris) has been at the forefront of the underground electronic music scene for over 10 years. Having honed his unique psychedelic techno sound in the London warehouse parties of the mid 2000’s, he moved seamlessly to the festival circuit and has played many gnarly events since 2007. Combining the driving basslines of contemporary techno and the melodic structures derived from his background in psychedelic music you can expect a journey as the layers are built up and groove locked in. In 2012 he teamed up with Ben Coda and launched the famous NANOPLEX LIVE project which has captivated fans around the world with 3 albums, a number of high profile EP’s and performances at Boom, Ozora, Rainbow Serpent, Glastonbury and Noisily Festival to name a few. You can find Ipcress collaborating with the best in the biz, predominantly releasing his records on his home label IbogaTech. 

Chris is also one of the main pillars of Noisily Festival, a well-known UK festival that has grown leaps and bounds over the years, providing a unique space for the psychedelic subculture to flourish.

Yacco was one the pioneer DJs of psychedelic techno in the Amsterdam underground dance scene during the late 90's, playing his distinctive style across the globe. He has released his own music under many monickers on labels like Blue Room Released (as Silicon Attic), Symbiosis, Millennium, M-Track, Input, Polygram, Sony Music and more. And now, he's currently back in!

Klartraum happens when producer and dj Nadja Lind (Lucidflow, Darkroom Dubs, Soma, Vitalik) and mastering engineer and producer Helmut Ebritsch (Hatikvah, Soma, Morris Audio, Baalsaal)’ve come together

to explore their musical urges. Both as a studio double duo and burgeoning live act they are bringing an entirely unique edge to their performances and output by taking their flowing techno to a deeper, spiritual level.
Since finding each other in 2006 the Berlin based production duo have stamped their unique mark on electronic music, finding favour with some of the world’s top DJs. Klartraum’s ‘Slayin’ The Dragon’ remix for legendary H-Foundation appeared on Soma 20th Anniversary alongside Daft Punk and was immediately charted by Silicone Soul’s Best Of 2011!
Out of the studio the two friends have taken their sound on the road, performing as Klartraum live around the globe, namely at London’s Fabric, Tresor Berlin, the infamous Ukrainian festival Kazantip, Goa’s renowned Shanti club, across Australia, America, Asia and of course Europe to rave reviews and rapturous response.

The creative processes start with a Ho’oponopono cleansing and EFT Session then with their equipment Midi-synced their sound is crafted through lightening quick jam sessions. The fluidity of their tracks reflects this process where two minds let their musical ideas evolve and merge together, constantly refining and pushing their own boundaries during this intuitive process.
Nadja’s intensely lively energy is bound by a natural continuity and progression in her work, resulting in tracks that tease and twist, leading the listener blindfolded through lush instrumentals and challenging soundscapes. This is regimented by Helmut’s skills developed through 20 years in the production game. These natural traits are often blurred as the two grow as individuals with the teachings learnt through the universal language of music. For the 2nd original track of this EP, we have 'Emotional Conflict' - a smooth and hypnotic trip through techno/trance crossover territory in true Luis M fashion. A deep and driving bass line keeps the solid foundation throughout, while the melodic hooks reel in the listener with subtle urgency. Another dance floor tested track from the Luis M live set - 'Emotional Conflict' rises above being mere 'b-side' .

Absolutely loved playing at Rainbow Serpent. Was one of the best moments of my life! It was a dream come true!

Was such an honor to play straight after Yuli and his amazing set. Loved having so many people coming up and thanking me for it over the next few days. The crowd at my set was the best!!

Would love anyone who loved the set to help share it and get it out to the people.

The good folks at Moyn Moyn asked me to do a 3 hour set that transitioned from techno in to trance. Unfortunately I suffered a technical problem on stage that stopped the recording so the last hour of the set was lost. Sorry to the trance fans, but I thought I'd share what was recorded anyway.
