Anesthesia (Demo)

This was the first song completed for the album, and it actually came together quite easily. Most of the ideas just poured out all at once. The original of original ideas came about in September of 2015.

Originally it was written around an acoustic guitar, and didn't really even have drums or anything like that. I changed the chords around, and the pacing to aim it more in an Emo/Punk style.

What Ruins the Gambler (Demo 1)

Originally came up with the idea for this song way back in 2014. The chorus was the first part but I combined another song with it to come to this complete version. 

Its intended to be played on an acoustic w/ drums, but I was doing this late at night and didn't wanna wake anyone up, its also missing some slide guitar and piano that we're gonna layer on top in the final but this is the core, basic idea.

Someplace, Somewhere (Demo)

Originally written, almost entirely, in 2016 with the name 'Meathooks', I added the bridge, breakdown, and layered more guitars in the verses while going through and trying to complete the album. 

I wanted to aim this track more in the direction of bands like Hundredth, Deftones and Fleshwater when I started re-working it in 2023/2024. I think it could use some extra reverb on the main guitars so I'll probably add that during the final recording process. I kinda fear that it might edging towards sounding like "Youngest Daughter" there in the main chorus riff but I hope I was able to stray away from it in this song.
