The peyote cactus has most likely been helping humans with great kindness and wisdom longer than anyone will ever know. Some Native origin stories place it at the beginnings of human existence, as a gift from the Creator to help the people remember who they are and where they came from. 

Native American deification of the plant is thought by scholars to be about 10,000 years old. Peyote cactus buttons uncovered in Shumla Cave in southern Texas have been radiocarbon dated to 5000 BCE.

It’s believed that the peyote pilgrimage of the Huichol — or Wixaritari as they call themselves — Indians of central Mexico may have been in place as early as 200 CE. Scholars consider it the oldest sacramental use of peyote in North America.

The annual pilgrimage of the Wixaritari, a practice continued until today, takes members of the tribe, under strict rules of discipline, away from their homeland on a walking pilgrimage to Wirikuta — the “field of flowers”, 400 kilometers to the northeast — to gather the spirit cactus and return with it for ceremonial and medicinal use. Several other Mexican tribes, including the Tarahumara, the Cora, and the Tepehuan (or Tepecano) also have a historical relationship with peyote.

Two and a half years ago, after a major car accident she understood that life is short and wanted to be closer to music. She decided to learn DJing and then music production. Mona_L is her first project which began with deep house and tech house. Over time she met with the Leveldva community in Moscow, with Geju, LDS, Jati Div and they introduced her to the downtempo chillrave music world. Thus KA.Tune project was born with more ethnic multicultural music.
Mona_L’s creative message and philosophy are simple: to create and share the mood of her heart. Her sets are of course about love. Love for this world, love for her friends. Everyday she learns something new in music and meets wonderful people from around the world. These days she is producing her own tracks which she will release soon.

Weird music, deep melodies, heavy elements and synthetic timbres. Those are the concepts that hold the sonority of Isadoser, the musical project of Isadora Otoni. The DJ and producer is based in Chapada dos Veadeiros, but had a long stay in São Paulo, where she connected with the universe of underground electronic music. After feeling embraced by parties like Voodoohop, Mamba Negra and Capslock, she moved from experiments in decoration to the musical field. Her first presentation was at Voodoohop, but had the deepest experiences in the extinct collective Kriança Esperança. Isadoser has played in many events through the underground scene, such as Quack!, Limbo, Fetsa, Goza, aFluxus, and Signal Festival, in Prague. Nowadays she is the founder and producer of Serenight, a collective that promotes experimental parties with electronic and ethnic music, like downtempo, techno, microhouse and popular brazilian music. Her productions have been released in labels such as Tropical Twista Records and Casa Caos. Mix magic, bucolic, spirituality and a machine shop: an Isadoser’s set is born.

About Serenight:

Moving the electronic music scene in Chapada dos Veadeiros, the collective Serenight is formed by Isadora Otoni, Mateus Almeida Silva, Léli Conti, Diana Larissa and Raphael Palmer. With the goal to link multiple artistic media, the group brings a post-modern visual concept, with an interactive and handmade scenography, alongside authorial video projections. The group has the “Do It Yourself” motto, and presents parties with a post-apocalyptic hippie aesthetic. Their musical characteristics are the experimentation of synthetic sounds mixed with organic elements, in genres that flows from microhouse to dub techno, from downtempo to minimal.

Today we share with you the first two hours of our 6.5 hour virtual rave that we hosted last Friday for our closest friends. What started as a slightly cagey and delicate exercise quickly devolved into a wild zoom party that was too good to stop. Thank you to all of our lovers and friends for joining us from their bedrooms, kitchens, gardens and living rooms. These first two hours are an eclectic mix of music we have been inspired by since the world turned upside down. Big love to the artists and producers who need our support now more than ever.

Enter Dante’s Dreamworld; the realm of subtle perception. 
Sound is a carrier wave of consciousness, a transmission beyond language or form.  
Dante is a translator of the muses. 

Obsessed with music from an early age, Dante dedicated his life to understanding its many forms. 
Twenty years as a musician, songwriter, and member of countless rock bands has informed his unique positioning now as a DJ and electronic music producer.  
Inspired heavily by the psychedelic movement of the late sixties, Dante seeks to revive that movement through the modern day house music scene. 
Crafting a diverse sound that is deep, organic, a little bit afro, a little bit indie, wrapped up with a psychedelic rock twist. 
Dante creates hybrid sets utilizing his upbringing as a live musician to incorporate live guitar, percussion, vocals and synths into his DJ performance.
