Home for Me

I am very happy to be able to finally share the work that I've poured into for this project, musically speaking. This music will soon be implemented into a Unity game so I'm looking forward to see my music come together with it. This was made from one of my favorite video game tracks from the Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire OST, one of my very first games.

My first experience of visiting Japan. I went on an exchange program in high school and visiting areas around the city of Sendai (仙台) after the 2011 Tsunami/Earthquake. 4 years later, I did an internship in Japan and revisited the place. Even though it changed, the memories still hold true. The flower of Kansas, the sunflower, is the connection I use to distinguish it's beauty and connection.

My hometown in Kansas. This piece was written to express my isolation. I grew up with a parent diagnosed with a mental illness called Schizophrenia, but couldn't talk about it with others. However, even with hardship you have to keep going. That time of my life helped shaped who I am today.
