Another year has passed, and so it’s time for the latest installment in TAU’s huge compilation series, Spektrum. The Adana Twins have been collecting and curating hot new productions from a variety of sources, new and more established, compiling a V/A that distills that ineffable TAU sound into 16 diverse cuts. A few familiar names are representing alongside some fresh faces, introducing new talent as we do with each Spektrum release. With this special release you’ll receive the Spektrum zine, a printed publication with features on all of the artists who’ve contributed to this release – an extended booklet if you will. Capturing that magical sweet spot between day and night, sun and moon, dreams and reality, Italian groove maestro Amarcord makes his debut on Damon Jee’s Dust & Blood with ‘The Blue Hour Club’…

A vibrant flip on his last track ‘Spleen’ on Eskimo earlier this summer (a 105BPM alt-pop Kraftwerk homage), here we find Amarcord in much more uplifted, energetic yet still contemplative mood. Sitting somewhere between new romantic and synth wave, Amarcord creates the perfect bed for E.S.O’s heartfelt vocals as we creep closer and closer to sunrise.

Remix-wise Greek darksmith Echonomist twists the light to create great shadows amid E.S.O’s vocals before Amarcord lays down two more floor-focused originals. ‘Ritrovare Un Tempo’ makes time for everyone with its ploughman bassline and humanised vocals while Titoli Di Coda cashes in our last credits with smouldering, downtempo cosmic finale… Just in time for the sunrise. Nipponeer Records is finishing off the year with a bang with the release of Anomaly. Sekret Chadow shakes your speakers with an electro funk breaks tune. Funky beats and basslines that this artist is known for flow throughout the track and are accompanied by filtered vocals, funky synth shots and piano hits that give Demon In Fumanoid a groovy progressive feel to it. 
ACEDIAS gives us an intelligent, jazzy off beat tune that is filled with dirty acid lines. The breakdowns are filled with horns that make appearances all over the tune. This feels like an homage to Fat Boy Slim and really takes a new approach to half time breaks. This one is sure to flex your system. 

Nipponeer Records being based in Tokyo, Japan; was founded by Hiroshi Fukuma in 2003. This is the 55th release of the label, while the first EP came out in 2009 - aiming to reach a place of solely ageless and quality music, where time has got no dimension.

Physicist turned Producer, @pyrame emergence into the electronic music scene is a story of wanderlust, dream catching and cosmic energy. A poet at heart, he takes the opportunity to create raw emotion through both his melodies and lyrics, when if you listen closely, are inspired by his endless adventures of the world around him.
Combining elements of synth-pop, post-disco and progressive electronica, his DJ affair of building both his sound and his label contains a touch of surrealism, heritage and fantasy, as his inspiration is pulled from the twists and turns of Greek Mythology. His label, appropriately named Thisbe Recordings (www.thisberecordings.com), comes from the myth of “Pyramus and Thisbe” which are most well known as the couple of ill-fated lovers by the ancient poet Ovid.

Being influenced heavily by new wave, metal and grunge growing up, his evolving taste and wanderlust saw him later inspired by the likes of LDC Soundsystem. Connected to both classical and electronic music throughout the years, and having dabbled in bands from a young age, Pyrame felt it was finally the time to put his passion for music first.

Releasing his debut EP “A Fine Life” in June 2019 on HIFI/LOFI Records, Pyrame has already matured in his sound so much. Releasing his first EP as a
synth-/electro-/cosmic-pop package, his second EP, "The Pace of Everything That Lives" provides a darker and more electro tone to his music, drifting into a more techno universe too.
