After a long break we are back with a new edition of our podcast series. We are more than happy about our next guest. Thanks again Pîrvu!

He is above all, a passionate electronic music producer, surfing easily through styles and tempos. Musically, he gets inspired from the early bassline driven UK sound of the ‘90s and the rave air of that same intense decade.

He already published his creations at labels from UK, Germany and Romania: NorthSouth Records, Meander, black.round.twelve, The Other Side to name a few. His tracks have been remixed by Rhadoo, Suciu and Valentino Kanzyani.
Abroad he played DJ sets in Berlin for Hoppetosse and Club der Visionaere, London, Prague, Milan and Stuttgart.

Alongside the singular act, Pîrvu is collaborating with Alexandra on an alternative project entitled ‘The Apricots’. The duo is combining experimental-downtempo tunes with jazz, trip-hop and hip-hop.

We are more than happy to welcome Joren Edwards to the Danube family for the 11th edition of our podcast series. He’s a DJ/producer based in Utrecht, The Netherlands. Inspired by the Romanian sounds of Arapu, SIT and Suciu and fellow Dutch producer Ferro, his sound can be best described as deep minimal, fusion, deeptech rolling classy drums with deep and hypnotizing pads and synths. He’s a real ‘crate digger’, always looking for timeless classics to combine with his own fresh sounds. Joren gained already strong support by the likes of Archie Hamilton, Raresh, Gescu, Priku, Arapu, Reiss, Giuliano Lomonte and Enzo Siragusa.  

Joren played at respectful places in The Netherlands like VBX, Shelter, Thuishaven, Straf_werk, Free Your Mind, Basis, Wildeburg Fest, Marktkantine, Lofi alongside Ferro, Sonja Moonear, Reiss, Rhadoo, Gescu and Ion Ludwig.

Here comes our next podcast edition. Timoti (Myles & Elliott), two brothers born in London, are now well established in the scene over there, having played at parties like HOME alongside Praslesh, Half Baked alongside Rhadoo, some appearances at RM1 in fabric and most recently Varka Records (in Tunisia), as well XTD with Praslesh and BeeYou records (in London). Their style would be a bit difficult to define but it goes from early 90's releases, blending a mixture of minimal house, electro and old school deep house. The mix was recorded during the summer. Thanks again!

Welcome Elli.on to our podcast series and happy new year everyone! She is new to the scene but very ambitious (2022 was her first year of playing in public). Invited to play in Norway and Netherlands, also Berlin and Cologne, co-founder of the Berlin collective Vaginastan and also resident DJ. She organizes club parties and open airs and keeps it strong for more equality in Berlin‘s party scene. Her style spans from minimal, house to breaks, acid and electro. Elia Nafzger is an aspiring DJ and producer who is well established on the London scene. He has made a name for himself among his peers and audience. Known for his carefully curated, colorful sets that float between different genres and moods.
Due to his musical background since childhood, he is able to understand certain sonic nuances and recognize rhythm and feeling in all areas of music. This can be seen in his performances and his productions, to which he has dedicated his life, constantly working behind closed doors on identity formation through his music.

We are more than happy to welcome Andrei Ciubuc to our podcast series. 

This set was recorded at the last edition of Dor de Munte - a three-hour journey of lovingly selected house and techno records.

Andrei Ciubuc is one of the producers and DJs who complete the overall picture of the Romanian house and techno underground. The extensive knowledge of sound engineering and composition can be felt in his selections and productions. Andrei Ciubuc's experience with music came from a young age, playing instruments such as violin and guitar and eventually analog electronic devices.

In both his DJ performances and his productions, he switches between a variety of genres and styles, which is notably evident in his most recent sets.

Foehn & Jerome are an Austrian duo who have been based in Berlin for over a decade. Their collaboration began in 2011 when they moved in together and launched the “Cafe Sturz” series at Vienna’s Grelle Forelle, where they hosted artists such as Zip, Sammy Dee and Vera.
After relocating to Berlin, they became residents at Club der Visionaere and in 2018 founded their ongoing event series Perfumed Freedom. Over the years, these gatherings have built a strong community and welcomed artists from across the globe. Today, the series has established itself as one of the key events at Club der Visionaere—a place to connect through great music and great people.

In recent years, Foehn & Jerome have shaped a sound that is both dynamic and immersive. Their music moves between warm, groove-driven rhythms and more stripped-back, experimental elements, always unfolding with a sense of flow that keeps the dance floor engaged. Their latest EP, Macho Madness featuring Sonya Zlo, pushes this evolution even further—with raw, genre-bending tracks born from a spontaneous studio jam. Much like their long-standing sets at Club der Visionaere, these productions reflect the atmosphere of their gatherings: detailed, unhurried and rooted in the connection between music and people.

Interacting with people by telling them a story made of music, behind the decks, has always been his distinctive feature. Big passion, refined style and attention for every detail, are the values that have always characterized Julian.
Leading on from Djing to production he has released tracks at labels such Subtil, Tooloop and his own label Eliptic Records which he started in 2016 with his partner Fengda Carissa where the medium of choice is dedicated to vinyl only releases. Played and supported by his Romanian colleagues, make us understand that these are just a few of the big surprises that Julian has in store for the electronic music scene. From his production to his DJ sets he has always been able to give the crowd exactly what it wants while keeping his deeply engrained musical influences present.
Announced as one of the residents of Club Guesthouse, Julian's new headqurter will serve his development in both realms, being the hosting base of a Dj at the club as well as his development as a producer.
