This is a dedication to the iconic and legendary rapper Rakim.

I made this remix as a alternative version to the superb original release in 1997 and also in celebration of Hip Hop's 50th anniversary this year. 

To me Rakim is a pioneer that changed the face of Hip Hop with his brilliant wordplay and style and how he set the stage for how stories were told within the rap form. 
I have been listening to his music for near on 40 years and one of my earliest memories is when Rakim released Paid In Full with Eric B back in 86 . His is the creator innovator God MC Rakim Allah.

I made this remix as a alternative version to the brilliant original release in 1991 and also in celebration of Hip Hop's 50th anniversary this year.

To me Big Daddy Kane is a pioneer in the Hip Hop scene, with his brilliant vocal skills, flow, style and charisma that inspired many to follow in his footsteps. 
I have been listening to his music for nearly 40 years and one of my earliest memories is when i first heard BDK track Raw back in 87. He is one of my all time favourite MCs. He goes by King Asiatic Nobody's Equal, Big Daddy Kane.

I made this remix as a alternative version to the dope original release in 1993 and also in celebration of Hip Hop's 50th anniversary this year.

To me Ice T is a pioneer in the Hip Hop scene, with his raw vocal style, gangster stories and tales from the streets that inspired and shaped a new genre in Hip Hop at the time as Gangsta Rap. 
I have been listening to his music for 40 years and one of my earliest memories is from the film Breakin in 1983. He is the Original Gangsta OG Ice T.

I made this remix as a alternative version to the amazing original release in 1995 and also in celebration of Hip Hop's 50th anniversary this year.

To me KRS-One is in the forefront as one of the most influential pioneers in the Hip Hop scene, with his undeniable knowledge for wisdom and understanding, vocal skills, talent for battling and confidence on the mic that inspired so many rappers for generations. 
I have been listening to his music for near on 40 years and one of my earliest memories is when KRS and Scott La Rock dropped the legendary Criminal Minded album back in 86. He is the Teacher Blastmaster KRS-One.

This is a dedication to the iconic and legendary group Task Force.

I made this remix as a alternative version to the epic original release in 2003 and also in celebration of Hip Hop's 50th anniversary last year.

To me Task Force are one of the most influential UK Rap groups within the Hip Hop scene.  They accomplished so many outstanding releases over the years their catalogue is a force to be reckoned with. Both Farma and Chester have distinctive individual styles and as a duo their combination of skills is second to none. 
I have been listening to their music since they started out in 1999, the same year I started producing and they have been a big influence to me throughout the years. I have met them on a few occasions, first time was in Manchester and I once performed on the same stage many moons ago.

This is a dedication to the iconic and legendary rapper Rodney P.

I made this remix as a alternative version to the awesome original release in 2002 and also in celebration of Hip Hop's 50th anniversary last year.

To me Rodney P is an pioneer within the UK Hip Hop scene. He started out in the legendary group London Posse. They were one of the first artists to rap in an English accent as most artists back in the 80s copied the American style of Rap.
I have been a fan of their music nearly 40 years and have continued to listen to his music throughout his solo career. He is one of my favourite artists within the scene and a couple of those quality tracks to look out for would be Money Mad and Big Tings We Inna.

This is a dedication to the iconic and legendary group Demon Boyz.

I made this remix as a alternative version to the epic original release in 1989 and also in celebration of Hip Hop's 50th anniversary last year.

To me Demon Boyz were one of the best groups within the UK Hip Hop scene. They consisted of two MCs and one DJ under the names of Mike J, Demon D and DJ Devastate. They released their debut album Recognition in 1989 followed by their last album Original Guidance in 1992. They were one of the first artists in the UK to rap with an English accent and had a undeniable unique style.
I have listened to their music since the group formed and continued to support Mike J's solo career under his alias Million Dan.

That History What You Made

Danzyo is a Music Producer and DJ from the East Coast UK. He is a creator of Hip Hop, Breakbeat and Drum & Bass and has been inspired by many artists and styles of music throughout his life.

Danzyo started out as a DJ turntablist in 1990 and became a Music Producer in 1999 originally under the name of DJ Kura. He released several projects throughout the years.
In 2019 he started work on a new concept and project under the alias of Danzyo releasing his debut album 'The Journey That Awaits' as singles throughout 2019 to 2020. He followed this with his second project the 'Solar Maestro' EP in 2022. His latest release is a dedication to Hip Hop's 50th anniversary with a collection of remixes in honour of some of the legendary artists within the scene entitled 'Hip Hop 50th'.
