Dapayk solo is a studio workaholic and he strikes a blow for vinyl. In 2009 he started his very own vinyl only series called DPK, next to his well established labels Mo's Ferry, fenou and RRYGULAR. The idea was to present vinyl in striking colours as a special format for his liveset tracks and beloved edits by artists such as Format:B, Super Flu, Sascha Braemer and Jon Hester. It's a feast for the eyes and the ears all in one. Now, four years later and after reaching #10 of the series, Dapayk decided to compile all tracks in a collectors box. In a review of the past ten releases he also felt it was time to make all tracks available for digital djs - in a legal way. This big bundle contains 21 tracks and ranges from minimalistic to funfair tunes and also some edgy b-sides.

Michael Mayer, aka Mr. Lava Lava asked a bunch of his absolute favourite artists to have a go at some of the tracks from his recent album 'The Floor Is Lava'. First up is Barcelona's brightest flame, RAXON, who is melting 'Brainwave 2.0' into a stompin fun-filled primetime banger. Longtime collaborator DAVE DK is a masterful producer and remixer that appears regularly on Pampa and Kompakt. His take on 'The Solution' feels like a road trip to paradise and back. Montreal's PRIORI is one of the hottest names in showbiz right now. His ability to bridge genres and create pristine sound designs is fully on display in his remix for 'The Solution'. Last but not least, the legend that is SEBASTIAN MULLAERT took a moment off from his revered Circle Of Live jams to transform the albums deepest cut 'Ardor' into an extraordinary musical journey. SNOE welcomes back long-time label favourite Adrian Hour for another striking two-track release. The Buenos Aires-based DJ and producer has been part of the SNOE family for years, known for his powerful sound design, infectious groove, and ability to move effortlessly between genres.

On In The Basement episode 075 we are joined joined by Jepe — a DJ and
producer with a proper journey behind him. He started out spinning Britpop
records on Portuguese radio when he was just sixteen, and somehow that led
all the way to Berlin, where he’s now sound engineer at Blackhead Studios in
the city. You might know him from his early days as one half of Johnwaynes, or
from his solo releases on Diynamic, Moodmusic, and Disco Halal as well as
releases on his very own Eastern Standard imprint.

He’s just dropped a single called “Universo Parallelo” with Gianet last month
and has a new slated for November, on the very same Disco Halal.

“Workless & Quadro” were born out of a series of regular sessions we have at Mark’s place in between our everyday jobs – little creative islands within our daily routines. The title track got its name because one of us happened to be workless at that time – and maybe that brought a certain freedom, both musically and mentally.
For Workless, we drew inspiration from the slower sets we love by artists such as Caleesi & Sarah Kreis or Mira & Chris Schwarzwälder – sets often built around pitched-down versions of faster tracks. Our goal was to create music that would naturally fit into that kind of downtempo atmosphere, without the need to slow it down.
Quadro, the second track, originally started at a faster pace. But as we worked on it, we realized there was a more laid-back, deeper downtempo version hidden inside. Instead of asking someone else to remix it, we decided to do it ourselves – turning our own faster production into an organically flowing slowhouse piece.
