Wir freuen uns riesig, Ronald KOON (@goodcustard / @disconnect_podcast / Dresden) auf unserem Kanal, in eurem Feed und vor allem in allen Ohren begrüßen zu dürfen. Der Mann bringt nicht nur ordentlich Glitzer in eure Playlists, sondern auch ein musikalisches Profil, das so leidenschaftlich wie präzise ist.

Ronald ist DJ und Produzent, geprägt von französischer Elektronik der späten 90er. Seit 2007 hinter den Decks, prägte er mit seiner Crew über Jahre die legendäre Dresdner Partyreihe French Kiss. Heute verbindet er Disco House, House und edit-lastigen Classic Disco zu einem Sound, der zwischen Jackin’, Soulful, Funky und UK-Einflüssen schimmert.

Seine Sets sind ein Wechselspiel aus klassischem und zeitgenössischem Disco & House – immer tanzflächenorientiert, immer mitreißend, immer nahe an den Grooves und Melodien der 70er & 80er. Seine eigenen Produktionen erscheinen beim britischen Label Good Custard und weiteren internationalen Labels der Disco- und House-Szene.

On top ist Ronald fester Bestandteil des DISCOnnect-Kollektivs, das Events hostet und einen monatlichen DJ-Podcast kuratiert. Seine energiegeladene Präsenz hinter den Decks und seine oft avantgardistischen Outfits machen jedes Set zu einem Erlebnis.

Kurz gesagt:
Der Mix knallt. Ronald glitzert. Die Disco lebt.

In short for now: 


I have some special needs to get back at the decks, so I wanted to talk about this with my doctor, how we can do this. An other doctor was recommending me something I can do, so I was telling this him. I also said to him, that music is absolutely my pure passion and I really want to continue with that and he told me also that 20 years ago he was also a DJ and playing in Clubs, so I was pretty sure, that he will understand it for sure.

PUSTEKUCHEN :-)

His answer was, he cannot recommend me this, what the other doctor was suggesting and an other option, he was also not recommending me. OK, so in total, he is not recommending this two options (we only had at this moment), but he is also not given me any solutions. 

He repeat it 3 times, that he CANNOT recommend me this. I was standing in the door and already leaving and he said it one more time:

I CANNOT recommend you this.

OK, I got you and I understand you, you CANNOT recommend this, so what?!

When I was already outside from the doctor’s room, I talked to the receptionist and said to her:


Geht NICHT, Gibt’s NICHT.

Nothing is impossible.


Like at the end, you can say, the doctor was not helping me and also not telling me good news, but you know what, after this:

I was super happy and it really didn't bother me at all.

To be honest, I was a bit speechless about a behavior like this, but I was like. 

Damn, we desperately need changes in many things, and I will do my best to make sure, that they will happen as quickly as possible.

I am pretty sure, I can do that.

I am STRONGER than ever before in my life and NO ONE can stop me.

So this is the story from this two set’s and why I am uploading them together.

I think this shows pretty clearly that’s a big part of my healing process.

I’m completely in my own world, somewhere else, but not here on this earth.

Honestly, I'm really excited to share this with you, and at the same time I'm incredibly scared of showing my vulnerability, but it's so important that we do this, so I'm doing it ;-)

This song reminds me sooo much of the absolutely legendary time at U60311 and I will never forget those special moments and those very special people.

By „random“ I saw a remastered version of: Time has changed 

and I had the feeling to text Codec and I did. He answered quickly and he was really understanding what I was telling him. I was super fascinated from this, because there were quite a lot of changes happening in the last days and I was telling him this. Aside from that, I was super happy at all, that he even answered me at all. THANKS a lot, Sven, I appreciate this more than a lot.

With almost 30 years on stage, Berlin’s electronic mainstay Dapayk Solo is back with a new 8-track album that captures everything fans love about him: Minimal vibes, playful experimentation and that unmistakable “Frickel” edge that has become his trademark.
Dapayk Solo — aka Niklas Worgt — has never been one to sit still. From his early days in the ’90s, founding Mo’s Ferry Productions to starting Sonderling Records, he’s shaping the European Minimal scene, his sound has always lived somewhere between the club and the laboratory. 
This new album is a tribute to that evolution. With eight tracks, Dapayk manages to distill decades of experience into a cohesive narrative. 
The record opens with „Bring It Back“, a track that plays with the ultimate withholding of the usual climax and drop — it’s the first of those kind of tracks that pull you in rather than push. As the album progresses, the grooves get deeper, the arrangements more twisted, and the signature Dapayk “Frickel” textures come to life: quirky percussion, clever micro-edits, rhythmic surprises.
It’s a release that shows an artist who’s not trying to reinvent himself — but refine himself. Three decades of live performances have taught him how to build tension, how to break it, and how to craft a sonic world that feels both timeless and fresh.
This album is for everyone who loves electronic music with personality: detailed, warm, a little nerdy, and unmistakably Dapayk.
