"Don't Forget the Angels" is a love song inspired by Wim Wenders's "The Wings of Desire" ("Der Himmel über Berlin"), dedicated to the fallen angels living among us and to love, a right / privilege of mortals. In the lyrics of the song we follow the angels as symbols of the best version of ourselves, of what we dream of becoming. Angels who dare to fall in love accept to fall from immortality, to become mortal, to be betrayed, to experience passion and pain. A song dedicated to the “earthly hellish paradise of love”.

The music site “sputnikmusic.com” included it amongst the best covers ever made on a Joy Division song, awarding it with the seventh place. The fashion brand Gucci chose the song as the music theme for its “Cruise 2016” campaign.
The song (as well as all the songs featured on the "Viva Voce" tape, plus unreleased material of the band), was officially released in a limited hand-numbered vinyl edition by Geheimnis Records, in March 2017.
