My first major piece using a DAW. Up until 2005 I'd only recorded on 4-track tape recorders.

To A New Realm I Rise

Originally conceived in the late '90s, this piece has influences ranging from David Gilmour to Brian May. The synth (Roland JUNO-60) added a depth I'd never had in the earlier versions.

Messiah

A conceptual piece that tries to tell a story of peace and aggression. The title is latin for 'Shadow Prevails'.

Umbra Victum

This was initially written under a different title for a woman I was dating in 2003. This version was recorded in 2006 using a Roland JUNO-60 for the bassline.

To Love

I wrote this on a keyboard and turned that concept into one of my coolest sounding pieces ever.

Oblivion

I began writing this near the end of a relationship so it's kind of a break-up song. Yet like so much of my music anyone can draw any number of meanings from they moods it creates for them.

Vengeance & Regret

Another riff that dates back to my earlier days in the 90's. Originally envisioned as a proper song with vocals I reworked it a bit to give it more interest as an instrumental.

Dreamscapes & Nightmares

I originally created this concept in 2000. I revisited it in the fall of 2014 during a difficult period in my life.

Autumn

I wrote this after a painful break-up which drove the emotion I tried to convey in this composition. It's also my 1st song ever to feature a live drummer.

I'm a guitarist first and everything else second. I'm working through my personal struggles and expressing myself in the best way I know how, through music.
