Hi all! 
My name is Daps and I am a song writer. I have been fortunate enough to have played in various bands ranging from funk, Irish traditional, to jazz-rock music, with my primary instruments being the guitar (rhythm & lead, acoustic & electric) and the concert flute. 

The most noticeable influence on my guitar playing would be Carlos Santana. My songs (like my playing) span several musical genres; typically jazz-rock, folk, blues and afro-rock - an offshoot of afrobeat.

The primary objective of this web site is to provide a repository for my songs. It also has the additional benefit of letting you listen to my songs as well as to provide me with valuable feedback. 

I am pretty visual, so most of my songs have been scripted for videos. For me the songs here are not complete - perhaps when soundcloud incorporates video you will get get the full picture - pun intended!
