Fka Mash, a DJ/Producer/Electronic Music Artist from Soweto, started making music at the age of 12 on a music production software he accidentally discovered on his friend’s laptop. In 2011 he had his first release under Baainar Records. The releases continued moving on to the most reputable deep house music label in South Africa, Stay True Sounds, a track out on Get Physical and a recent remix for Jimpster’s imprint Freerange Records. He has gathered solid support from the likes of Black Coffee, Jullian Gomes, Vinny Da Vinci, Jimpster, Lars Behrenroth and Sebastien Leger to name a few.
He has performed on some of the most sought after stages & venues in South Africa, from intimate gatherings such as Kitchener’s & Great Dane in Braamfontein, Living Room Jozi, to some of the most prolific events in his respective sound, namely, We House Sundays, Deep Town Jozi, CTEMF, Rocking the Daisies and Deep In The City.

Das Base Camp

Unabhängig von Lebenslage und Situation braucht jedermann sein Base Camp. Dabei ist es unerheblich ob man in einem Club feiern, auf Wanderschaft in die Berge oder einfach nur zum nahegelegenen Strand geht.
Grundsätzlich hat ein Base Camp keine feste Struktur. Die Beschaffenheit des Rückzugsortes variiert je nach Bedarf und Personenzahl. Jedoch sind einige Charakteristika bei fast allen identisch. 
Neben ausreichend Sitzplätzen bedarf es etwas Ruhe und frischer Luft. 
Von Zeit zu Zeit muss man für einen gemütlichen Zufluchtsort auch mal Hand anlegen. Dann wird hastig die Rückbank des Autos freigeräumt, die sonnige Lichtung im Wald von störendem Unterholz befreit, oder auf dem Badetuch ein bisschen zusammengerückt. 
Neben den rein pragmatischen Aspekten besitzt das Base Camp auch eine mitmenschliche und gesellige Komponente. In einem derartigen Setting werden des Öfteren die eine oder andere Weisheit ausgetauscht, Pläne geschmiedet oder auch tiefgründige Gedankengänge zur Sprache gebracht. Ein bisschen kuscheln und die Seele baumeln lassen gehören ebenfalls zu den Vorzügen des Camps. 
Wie wichtig so ein Ort ist realisiert man häufig erst wenn man mal keinen hat. Wir alle brauchen ein Refugium der Regeneration und Geborgenheit. Das Base Camp, ein zeitloses und Ur instinktives Bedürfnis des Menschen. 

Anatolian Sessions lädt uns heute in sein phonetisches Base Camp ein. Sein Groove gleicht der spielerischen Leichtigkeit, mit dem frischer Tau vom Blatt zu Boden fällt. Seine Klangwelt Reise führt uns über die Berge, durch den Wald, hinein in den Trubel der Großstadt. 
Auf 60 einhalb Minuten entfalten sich die wundersame Kraft der gemäßigten BPM und unbeschwerten Melodien.
