Ezequiel Arias returns to the label with two brilliant tracks.

It's been a whirlwind decade for the man from Patagonia. Signed to Balance Music, The Soundgarden, Replug and many more, his music regularly tops the Beatport charts and his DJ sets have been enjoyed by countless thousands around the globe. Currently touring with Anjunadeep, his trademark deep, emotional sound has cemented his place in the scene.

Opening with 'Once A Day' trippy arps and a rolling bass get things off to a rollicking start. Developing naturally, the arps take on a spiritual appeal married with warm pads and melodic swells. Peak time never sounded so blissful. Next up, 'Revolver' winds a darker path from the off. Rubbery bass and snappy percussions draw out the melodics midway, paired with darker sweeps and sharp FX. Steyoyoke’s Family Affair series returns to mark its 8th edition to date. The second half of this double release features remixes by Steyoyoke core producers Nick Devon, Simon Sizer and Arude.

Nick Devon introduces his usual well-defined pace to JOBE’s ‘Dystopia’, but diversifies in percussion elements. Great evolution as well.

Simon Sizer comes in remixing ‘Indra’ from family chief Soul Button delivering a sinister soundscape full of echoing sharp elements, making the ambience apparent and notably dark. 

Finally Simon gets a treatment on his own ‘Aconit’ by Ukranian talent ‘Arude’ which crafts a proper Techno groove as he reinforces the track’s commitment to murkiness. 
That’s what Family Affair is all about. Artists lend their techniques and unique views to other highly skilled producers and their pieces, providing beautiful alternative versions of the tracks we already love.

AKA Ram Rod is a former Resident DJ at the club ROOM 203 (HGO, MEX, 2023) with 17 years of experience playing since the beginning genres such as Progressive House, Deep House, Trance and Techno. Main Genre now is Progressive House. Main influence was the electronic music from 1995 - 2005

I’ve been playing in many venues such as clubs, bars and local events in several cities of Mexico, like Pachuca, CDMX, Queretaro, Veracruz, Playa del Carmen.
