Originally written last year for my friends at Gamers Giving Back - a charity group that puts together an event called "Pink Day in LA" in the video game, Guild Wars. This is a slight rewrite to reflect the new date for the event.

Based on Maclaine Diemer's song "Wintersday is here", in which he had some lyrics written but had not completed it. The song can be heard played by bells during the Wintersday events in Guild Wars 2.

I wasn't really happy with the flow of the third and fourth lines for the second verse, and the third line felt really weird. I'd wanted to keep using "this day" in each first line with three rhymes with "here" though. Other words I'd played with include: sincere, disappear and revere.

Ghostly Hero teaches how to Ascend, and in PvP, you've to defend him

And, Razah from the Mists was made, while Shiro, out of fear betrayed
Joko could be so crass, Oh, the Vabbi he harassed. 
For Vekk you really felt quite bad, an explosion went and killed his dad
and Gwen killed Charr with great delight - within Guild Wars one.
