Soma welcome Techno behemoth Monoloc for his label debut with two dark, brooding Techno tracks in his inimitable style with the ‘Gipson EP’. Monoloc was born in 1980 in Frankfurt am Main. He first got in touch with the booming electronic music scene of this Techno metropolis at the age of 16 and soon bought his first set of records. Since then, his life has revolved around his ultimate goal; manifestation of his musical vision in the form of dj sets as well as his very own productions.

Title track Gipson kicks off with deep, pumping subs and kicks with a slowing evolving atmosphere creating great tension through the body of the track. Monoloc subtly pulls back the throttle only to launch back it with bold, crashing percussion. Most definitely one for the more moody dance floor.

On the flip, Cupel starts off a little lighter but defiantly delivers a punch. Muted kicks and atmosphere provide the backdrop while delayed synths trip out over the top. Monoloc picks up the pace ever so slightly as skipping hi hats given the track more urgency before ethereal pads glisten through the heart.

HVOB have only just released their impressive debut album, but the next EP is already on the way: "Always Like This" is almost a tribute to the Vienna-based electronic duo's current wave of success.
Number 1 in the iTunes Dance Charts in Austria and number 3 in Germany, number 3 in the Beatport Deep House Charts – and HVOB's eponymous debut album continues to win the band critical acclaim in a success story which began when the first snippets appeared on Soundcloud a year ago. HVOB's Berlin-based label Stil vor Talent, which is no stranger to success, has been delighted by one of its best selling albums to date.
HVOB's third EP is scheduled for release on April 26 – and the track selection seems to be more than mere coincidence. "Always Like This" is an accurate reflection of the young Vienna electro duo's life right now. Anna Müller and Paul Wallner are "super happy" with the way things are going, busy as they are with all the live appearances in cities like Berlin, Paris and Istanbul, long nights spent in the studio and the formation of new partnerships: alongside Four Artists, Primary Talent, one of the world's major booking agencies, will in future be looking after the interests of HVOB.
"Always Like This" is the third single from the album "HVOB". HVOB's cover of the track by British indie rock band Bombay Bicycle Club mixes warm synth pads with soft beats, while Anna Müller's distinctive voice puts an entirely new spin on the melancholy of the original. Oliver Koletzki and Andhim have both made remixes of HVOB's interpretation of "Always Like This": Oliver Koletzki's version is powerful, emotive and melodic, while Andhim's shows incredible attention to detail and is intensely deep and original.
HVOB, which stands for "Her Voice Over Boys", are Anna Müller and Paul Wallner, who formed the duo in spring 2012. Müller (composition, production, vocals) and Wallner (composition and final production) produce intelligent, sophisticated electronic music, which is both easy to listen or dance to. The Vienna duo, who favour live on-stage performances with the backing of a drummer, will be appearing at the Donaufestival in Krems, Lower Austria, the Lighthouse Festival on the Lanterna peninsula (Porec, Croatia), the Pratersauna in Vienna, the Übel & Gefährlich in Hamburg and the Ninkasi in Lyon. Daraspa is a producer from the Netherlands (Amsterdam). His first EP “Art of illusion “ was released at the end of 2013 on the well known Belgian Label Sound Avenue. The EP immediately received support from Digweed, Cattaneo, Chris Fortier, Darin Epsilon, Navar and Dimitri Kneppers to name a few. His track “Sashke” entered the # 2 position in the highly acclaimed “Beatport must hear progressive tracks” of the week. One month after that his second EP “Vaca Guitarra” was released on Gentlemen Lounge Records.

Daraspa’s compositions are full off crisp beats, cool hypnotic rhythms and wavering synths. They are often combined with sentimental themes and alien like vocal chords. All the elements delicately meld together for a hazy blur of electronic energy. These soulful and warm elements combined with alluring atmospheres and vibrant electronics - without a doubt, heighten the senses nicely.

His sets can be described as sentimental, deep and soulful. This style is often experienced as very intimate. His musical journey captures the emotions amongst his listeners which leads to those very special and lasting moments that are long remembered. The roots of this musical style was developed in the nineties when electronic music became his passion while going to famous clubs in Amsterdam like the Roxy. After listening to the vibes of the electronic music scene he bought some turntables himself and started to get official bookings in local clubs in Amsterdam (Panama, Escape to name a few). His soulful and warm sound soon got picked up  abroad and soon led to a residency on the famous elements parties that were held in Mexico City.

2014 marks the start of daraspa's own radioshow on Frisky radio. The show is broadcasted every second Monday of the month and is called “Halcyon”.
