If you’re listening then right on! My name is Darcy, I’m from Penzance. I now reside in Brighton via Bristol & London. This probably reveals some of my musical influence. Fanatic in trying, consistent in failing, now and then something sounds alreet. I would say my ambition far exceeds my talent musically but due to the wonders of technology a dog can churn out a song these days.

 I named the current collection of songs, I guess it’s an EP, ‘Let the Storm In’ as it represents a handing over of the inevitable. It’s was a good reflection of the head space I was in when writing them and conveniently it’s one of the song titles. If you can’t stop the storm you might as well embrace the negatives and positives that come with it. If you’re thinking Dan Taylor in Forest Gump, raging at the sky at top mast, you shouldn’t be!

Bass line on Raise A Glass – Forest Watkins. I’m releasing an EP later this year under a different project name with Forest. A much more coherent and well thought out project as a whole….solely because Forest dealt with all instrumentation and production….just a vocal project for me.  Watch this space!

I’m not sure what genre you would call this, but saying its alternative makes me feel uneasy…. and I won’t reel off my inspirations otherwise you will see where I have stolen all my material from. It was cooked up in my bedroom and I would say it's best served in headphones but not essential. Enjoy. Big love. Keep rocking in the not so free world x
