Taking heavy inspiration from the Australian indie-rock/punk/emo scene Darcy Baker appeals to fans of authentic and personal songwriting, drawing from artists like: Slowly Slowly, Ceres, The Story So Far. Baker has released 3 consecutive singles; 'Leaving', 'North Road' and 'Dissociate' ramping up to his debut show in early 2024.

North Road ft Caitlin Henry of Eat Your Heart Out was featured on Triple J Unearthed's 'Track of the Day' when it released and landed on spotify's All New Punk Editorial playlist.

Having developed both a personal and professional relationship over many years with Melbourne producer Christopher Vernon (CV) (Bloom, Deadlights, Better Half, The Beautiful Monument) Baker co-wrote and co-engineered his own singles with him citing CV as a "beacon of exceptional work ethic with a passion for creating good music"
