I was asked to write an upbeat rebel song by a family member living abroad. I had great craic maiking it. It took me 4 hours from writing the lyrics to recording the vocals and  guitars and programming the drums and strings. Previously known as Demon Groove (Tasty Records, Adapted Records). I started producing music in 2009 trying to fit my songwriting into my more club orientated music productions, but I always managed to fail at it. I began releasing instrumentals under the name Demon Groove, and released 11 ep’s with Indi Labels.  My biggest achievement was charting  just outside the top ten on Beatport and staying there for a number of weeks. I got a small cult following and my tracks were played in clubs all over the world. In 2014 I decided to take a break from producing for a while and went travelling (two months biking from Dublin to Milan, and three months on a Thai Island, where I wrote a book.) In between chapters I began writing scraps of songs, this proved to be a transformative experience in terms of songwriting. The songs that came out were sounding like there was something there so I went with it, and began to sing from the heart, where before I think I was trying to be a songwriter and not simply writing from the heart. I spent another year settling back into Dublin and for 2 years after that I began writing every single day grafting my songs and shaping my sound to where it felt natural and authentic.
