Inspired by the Queen of cliffhangers, Shahrazad, I wanted to try and merge a Middle Eastern vibe with my Celtic instrumentation.

**Everything Works Out in the End** is a beautiful and intense piece that blends rapid, synth-driven rhythms with a soft and melancholic piano melody. The track captures the emotional arc of human suffering—those moments when everything seems to be falling apart, only to find an unexpected sense of resolution and hope. It’s a sonic journey through darkness and uncertainty toward light and acceptance.

As part of the **Nightvisions** album, this track sits within a collection of six electronic and ambient compositions, each infused with classical touches like the piano. Together, these tracks explore the mysteries and emotions of the night. Alongside its companion albums, **Nightsongs** and **Nighttales**, **Nightvisions** completes a trilogy dedicated to the many stories, moods, and revelations found after dark.

Everything works out in the end

At the heart of this music lies the steel pan — an instrument born in Republic of Trinidad and Tobago in the early 20th century.

During the colonial era, African drumming was banned under British rule, out of fear that rhythms could unify enslaved and marginalized communities. Yet, music could not be silenced.

People turned to bamboo sticks, metal containers, and eventually oil drums, transforming restrictions into invention.
From this resilience emerged the steel pan, the first acoustic instrument created in the 20th century.

The word Creole itself speaks of mixture and convergence: in Republic of Trinidad and Tobago it refers to Creole languages shaped by African, European, and Indigenous influences, and more broadly it names cultures formed where worlds collide.

Reflecting this spirit, Creole weaves the luminous timbre of the steel pan with tribal rhythmic currents, embodying hybridity, memory, and the unbroken force of music.
