JMur, born and raised Antwine James Dixon In South Philadelphia. As he studied in culinary arts his real passion was singing. JMur has sang at many singing contest in the Philadelphia area including the Allentown area, just to name a few. He started singing at the age of 6. Sitting on the corner of his block with a friend that Sang as well. A friend then noticed that he could sing, and he has been singing ever sense. JMur started singing gospel music first with his sister who helped him learn to open up and sing for anybody that was around. Today his style is edgy and unlike the rest. From the sexy tone of his voice to the truth in the delivery of the lyrics in his songs, JMur is Unique, His love is harmony, groups like Boys II Men, New edition, and Shai, just to name a few, have inspired him to push every song he can with beautiful notes of harmony. Raised in the system JMur had nothing but the love of the music, and people that he barely knew he sang and listened to music at all times so it was easy to gain a ear for music. Music is what brought his life together. He had both his grandma and grandpa growing up, so they were always there for him even though they were getting older to teach him little parts of life that would help mold his future. With the passing for his grandmother in 2006, it has brought his music out more and JMur even stronger. JMur wants to write and produce music that you can relate to and is heartfelt, and keep you moving and true, and worthy and successful. His 3 Nephews and 3 Neices the children of his older Sister push and gives him reason to succeed in life and in music. He knows that he has to shape and secure their future, so there is nothing stopping JMur
