Life on the inside of professional sports is not as glamorous as many people make it out to be. You have to be willing and able to play to win. This doesn’t just mean winning every game. You can play to win, but that means you really have to play to win. You have to give it your all within every game. When you’re not on the court or on the field, you still have to play to win. Coach kids to show them how an education can make a difference. Work with the community to make a difference.

If you’re going to dream big, you have to use your mind as well as your athletic talents. You can play to win so you win on every front. It’s a money hungry industry but you can move past that and set an example for those all around you.
