NEW SONG NOVEMBER SONG 1 (EVERYBODY KNOWS WHO I AM) 10 - 31 - 21

Woke up REALLY late today - 6:30am...got started and had to quit right at 7:30am. So I had an hour - came home later and got started around 9pm and worked till 10pm - so 2 hours on this song.

NEW SONG NOVEMBER DAY 10 (LEAVE IT ALONE) DEMO

This one just came - I started at 4:30am and by 5:30 I had most of the song. It was from the start and continued to be throughout the time. I worked till a little before 7am. 

I could imagine some lawsuits coming my way, if this became a "hit." Haha - kind of sounds like another artist, to me.

NEW SONG NOVEMBER DAY 23 (GIRL OF YOUR DREAMS) DEMO

I wrote this one, this morning. I was up late the night before (till about 2am) working on the song for the 25th. On the 26th I woke up at 4am, like I have been and I just couldn't get back to sleep...so, running on 2 hours of sleep, I finally got up around 7am and picked up my acoustic guitar - this is what happened, in about a half hour. 

For anyone who cares - I never have an idea to start with - I don't write anything down - the ideas that come, come in the moment and I just go with them. I "write" the lyrics as I sing - I don't write anything down, I just sing then re-sing until I like something. None of the lyrics REALLY mean anything, that I know of. I just like the way they sound.

NEW SONG NOVEMBER DAY 26 (LAZY BOY) DEMO

We stayed at a hotel in GR for Thanksgiving - so I brought my laptop and a small midi keyboard. I woke up at 4am but was really tired - I didn't want to work. So I worked for a bit - came up with this idea and just did what I could for about 30 mins, then gave up and went back to bed. 

I had a vocal melody recorded on my phone - but I didn't feel like putting it on...i'm tired of work on music for now...

I came up with this idea - thinking about modern country songs and how weird and annoying they are. Kind of creepy. So, this one is kind of creepy.

NEW SONG NOVEMBER DAY 27 (GIRL I C U) DEMO

I came up with the riff and blablabla...i don't even know...i'm tired...it started to gather steam after some lyrics and melodies started to come. I think the lyrics have some promise. I think the chorus and general idea has some promise. I want an intro guitar or keyboard - I have an idea - have to record it.

I can't remember - oh yeah - I found a bunch of songs I liked - graphed them out, tempos, keys, chords, where the vocal melodies started, etc...etc...This bassline came after some playing...the song needs a chorus but has some promise, I think???

One of my favorite drummers gave me a track to record something to - I came up with 3 song ideas - this was the 2nd one. I just dug it the most out of the 3. 

I worked from like 8:30pm till 3:30am with a break for a couple hours to work on Day 29 song.
