Returning for Perspectives Digital's 104th release, Alexandros Djkevingr has carved out a sizable reputation with music for such esteemed imprints as Diynamic, Ellum Audio, Renaissance, Parquet Recordings, and Sincopat. His previous signing on PD titled "Thanatos" (2020) saw an impressive debut on Darin Epsilon's label alongside Greg Ignatovich as the trio created a spell-binding melodic powerhouse. Joining forces with MAAND, the Italian duo have overseen success since 2019 with over 70 production credits on the likes of Katermukke, Dear Deer, Lost On You, and more.

After coming together with Greg Ignatovich on 2022's "Earthling" EP for Katermukke, Alexandros Djkevingr & MAAND reprise their partnership with "Nostradamus". Opening with a running 16th note bassline sequence and dominant, low-end kick, listener attention is quickly seized with a powerful chorus of robotic-sounding effects. Vocal phrases and effected sounds criss-cross across the stereo spectrum in dizzying speed with a combination of growling, pitched, and bubbling noises. Evolving through a simple synth motif and arpeggiated riff, a loquacious vocal passage delivers a message full of foreboding portents at the breakdown before a fizzing, machine-like bassline picks up the pace in the second half to powerful effect.

Regulars on Perspectives Digital over the past 2 years, Far Distance have made sizable waves with their Melodic Techno and Progressive House focused sound. Returning to the label with a two-track EP, the Spanish duo now present their new productions titled "Dangerous" and "Trance Mission".

A rising force in the underground dance scene, Far Distance have found themselves becoming in-demand producers with a slew of releases and Beatport Top 100 hits on the likes of Einmusika, Eleatics, and Dear Deer. Making their debut on Darin Epsilon's imprint in April 2021, the boys are back with a third original EP. "Dangerous" opens with a pounding beat and 16th note bass sequence that creates immediate dancefloor energy. Sizzling snare rolls and a sharp-edged synth motif soon enter the fray to powerful effect before a further metallic bassline adds a stuttered staccato feel in the second movement. A blissful breakdown of trance-infused arpeggio provides a filtered hands-in-the-air moment before a white-noise riser then drops back into the bassline-and-beat gravitas of earlier phrases. Redolent of the sound palette of its partner track, the hypnotic bassline sequence and hefty kick of "Trance Mission" lay the foundations for genre-defining melodies to then enter the fray with apposite sonic reference to the title. A static-infused breakdown with bass note and synthetic voice provide pause for breath before the track is propelled forward once more with driving synth passage, mesmerizing bass, and smooth chord progression.

Hitting the ground running at the start of 2024, Darin Epsilon's highly regarded label celebrates Volume 8 of its successful series "Perspectives Around the World".

The final track sees a trio of seasoned names take center stage.  First making their appearance together in 2005 with "Noorderlicht", Dutch artists Yves Eaux and C-Jay have gone on to become highly respected names within the underground dance fraternity.  With other 650 credits to his name over two decades, Yves Eaux is an internationally respected figure with performances across the globe and releases on Black Hole, Movement Recordings, and Balkan Connection.  Similarly, C-Jay has found favor with his multi-layered sound on labels like John Digweed's Bedrock Records, Electronic Elements, Replug, and 2021's "Dormarch" with Stephane Gervais and LOM (AR) on Perspectives Digital.  Joining together with Egyptian producer, Hassan Rassmy, who has also seen production success with his work on Suffused Music, Massive Harmony, and Manual Deep, "Spetter" is fueled by a crunchy bassline groove and strong beat.  Smooth vocal phrasing adds a touch of class while a flowing wave of synth motifs make a splash across the midrange.  Full of dynamic dancefloor character, snare rolls and white noise add to the piece, creating a potent and emotive track by this collaborative force.

An artist with a nascent production career, VABU has been a regular across Hamburg's club scene for more than 5 years.  As her renown grew, the rising German star found herself performing across her homeland as well as at the Habitat, Feel, and Pangea Festivals.  First meeting at Berlin's Ritter Butzke in February 2023 while opening for Darin Epsilon, VABU now makes her triumphant debut almost a year later.  Anchored by a pounding Techno beat and simple bassline groove, "Space Division" builds into a powerful melodic track.  A filtered refrain gradually comes to the fore in commanding fashion as white-noise infused stabs provide percussive intent. The Italian native has seen a rapid rise to prominence in the past 12 months, including a #1 hit on Beatport's Melodic House & Techno Hype chart with his track "Sweet Dreams". Originally hailing from New York City and now based in Nuremberg, Adrian Barrin aka Unseen is an active YouTuber, event organizer, and prominent figure in the world of Melodic House & Techno. Responsible for nearly 1000 production credits dating back to late 2008, Nihil Young is a renowned figure within the underground dance fraternity. The Italian native has seen a rapid rise to prominence in the past 12 months, including a #1 hit on Beatport's Melodic House & Techno Hype chart with his track "Sweet Dreams". With his cutting-edge sound ever in-demand, plus recent releases on Paul Van Dyk's Vandit Records, Purified, Einmusika, SHÈN Recordings, and Beatfreak, Nihil continues to impress with his masterful soundscapes and cutting-edge, cross-genre work.

Originally hailing from New York City and now based in Nuremberg, Adrian Barrin aka Unseen is an active YouTuber, event organizer, and prominent figure in the world of Melodic House & Techno. With a melodic and emotional resonance running through his sound, Unseen has proven to be an exceptionally successful figure via more than a century of tracks for Steyoyoke, Beyond Now, Heinz Music, Dear Deer, Astral Records, and his own Lelantus Records, among many others.

Rounding out the triumvirate, Munich based producer Robin Korsal has been involved in music from an early age as a drummer and vocalist. His production career is quickly gathering traction and 2023 has seen the rising star feature on New Tab Music, Eye And Eye, and Mirror Walk.

Internationally acclaimed DJ, producer, radio host, and label owner Darin Epsilon is often referred to as a pioneer of Melodic House & Techno and Progressive House.  His Perspectives radio show and podcast reaches tens of thousands of listeners every month.  He launched his Perspectives Digital record label in November 2010 as an extension of the brand, further solidifying his influence and presence within the global dance community. In 2016 he was nominated for ‘Best Progressive House Artist’ in the annual Beatport Awards, and in 2011, John Digweed named him one of the winners in his DJ Competition sponsored by Bedrock and Ableton Live.  He also became the first artist ever to release a tutorial for producing Progressive House after teaming up with SonicAcademy.com
