Neues Jahr, neues Glück oder wer hat noch nicht, wer will nochmal.
Den Jahreswechsel sollte man zum Anlass nehmen, die alten Faxen sein zu lassen. Fliegt die erste Rakete in die Luft, wird die letzte Kippe geraucht und das letzte Bier geext. Dann im Dauerlauf von der Party Heim, schon mal die ersten Kalorien verbrennen im neuem Jahr. Zudem soll frische Luft gegen Stress helfen. Den 12 Wochen Plan für die Bikini-Figur noch schnell aus der Schublade gezaubert und eh das Feuerwerk zu Ende ist, ist man auf dem besten Weg in ein neues Leben. Doch wurde das Ganze auch richtig angegangen?
Lieber nochmal schnell den Radioexperten zu Rate ziehen. Aha in seiner unendlichen Weisheit rät er sich möglichst große Ziele zu stecken, dass erhöht den Grad der Befriedigung beim Erreichen. Naja der wird es schon wissen. Aber halt, der Mann vom Frühstücksfernsehen kann aus Erfahrung berichten, dass kleine Ziele das Durchhaltevermögen steigern. Was tun?
Folgen sie doch dem deep stories Ratgeber für gute Vorsätze. Sie wollen mehr Zeit mir der Familie verbringen, neue Bekanntschaften machen, mehr an der frischen Luft sein und abnehmen?

Der Stress und die Kalorien verschwinden wie von Zauberhand und Glückseligkeit sollte sich bereits nach wenigen Minuten einstellen.

Live @ Silver & Smoke in Sarajevo, Bosnia (Big Bells Showcase) [July 2023] 🇧🇦

This year's Burning Man received a record amount of rainfall (2-3 months worth of rain in 1 night) which led to historic flooding at Black Rock City 🌧️

The muddy conditions made it nearly impossible for vehicles to enter or exit and festival-goers became trapped in the Nevada desert.  Over 70,000 attendees were ordered to shelter-in-place at their camps and conserve food, water, and supplies 🏜️

Due to the heavy rain, my performance on Friday was cancelled 😢 but thankfully The Fluffy Cloud was able to add me to their Saturday lineup alongside Vintage Culture, Sharam, Giolì & Assia, and more.  Luckily a group of the most dedicated and hardcore Burners came down to lift our spirits and rave with us in the mud 🙌

A big THANK YOU to the Fluffer crew & family for making all of this possible and for helping me feel comfortable during this unprecedented disaster 🫶

BIOGRAPHY

Darin Epsilon is a globally renowned DJ, producer, radio host, and label owner, widely celebrated as one of the pioneers of Melodic House & Techno and Progressive House. As the host of the Perspectives radio show and podcast, he has reached tens of thousands of listeners each month, solidifying his influence within the global dance music community. Since launching his label Perspectives Digital in 2010, Darin has continually expanded his artistic reach, further establishing himself as a key figure in the electronic music scene.

Originally from Chicago, Darin’s early career was shaped by his pivotal residency at the legendary Vision Nightclub. This was followed by his move to Los Angeles in 2008, where he worked with renowned brands such as Insomniac at Exchange LA, GIANT at Avalon and Vanguard, and Monday Night Social. His journey continued in 2017 when he relocated to Berlin, the world’s electronic music capital. By 2022, he further cemented his position on the global stage with a highly coveted DJ residency at Ritter Butzke, one of Berlin’s most beloved venues. 

Darin's career milestones are a testament to his pure talent and determination. In 2011, he gained international recognition by winning John Digweed’s 'Structures Two' DJ Competition, sponsored by Bedrock and Ableton Live, and in 2016, he was nominated for 'Best Progressive House Artist’ at the Beatport Awards. He also became the first artist ever to release a Progressive House production tutorial after teaming up with SonicAcademy.com, further demonstrating his expertise and commitment to music education.

Throughout his lengthy career, Darin has released on the industry's most recognized labels such as (in alphabetical order) Einmusika, Katermukke, Renaissance, Ritter Butzke Records, Selador, Siona Records, Sudbeat, and Warung Recordings. His tracks have consistently charted in Beatport's Top 10, and he has garnered widespread acclaim working alongside top-tier artists such as DJ CHUS, Fur Coat, Jerome Isma-Ae, Hernan Cattaneo, Miss Monique, Quivver, Robert Babicz, Sasha Carassi, Sebastien Leger, Sydney Blu, among countless others.

Over the years, his distinct melodic sound has been supported and played by the biggest DJ’s in the world including Adriatique, Agents of Time, Eelke Kleijn, Einmusik, Fideles, Hannes Bieger, Hernan Cattaneo, Innellea, John Digweed, Joris Voorn, Korolova, Miss Monique, Nick Warren, Nora En Pure, Pete Tong, Sasha, Solomun, Township Rebellion, Vintage Culture, Yotto, and the list goes on and on.

He cites a variety of important influences in the past decade, from the early Leftfield and Future Sound of London albums, to the iconic Global Underground compilation series, to the sweeping sounds of Paul Oakenfold circa 1999, to Sasha & Digweed's mind-blowing Delta Heavy tour in 2002.

If you have ever been in the audience to catch one of his live sets, it becomes immediately apparent that he is proficiently skilled as a DJ as well. His ability to connect with audiences is unparalleled, and his relentless touring schedule has taken him from the world’s most prestigious venues—Ministry of Sound and EGG (London), Avalon and Exchange (Los Angeles), Stereo (Montreal), The Bow (Buenos Aires)—to the most popular festivals such as Amsterdam Dance Event, Burning Man, Ultra Music Festival, BPM Festival, South By Southwest (SXSW), and Berlin Dance Music Event.

However, it would be foolish to say that his achievements have been purely confined to the club setting. Darin’s music has also caught the attention of global brands like MTV, Algoriddim djay, American DJ, Elation Professional, and Global Truss, for whom he has licensed content and provided the soundtrack to their promotional videos. His tracks have also been featured in several feature films, placing him among a select group of producers whose music has graced the big screen.

With hard work, passion, unwavering dedication to his art, and support from the industry's most revered names, this Chicago native turned Berlin transplant aims to prove that this is only the beginning to a long and promising career.
