Chain of Fools is a song written by Don Covay originally intended for the majestic Otis Redding. It is claimed that the song is an unauthorized rewrite of a gospel song named "Pains of Life" recorded by Rev E Fair & The Sensational Gladys Davis. Covay recorded his demo version of Chain of Fools while singing Gospel with his brothers and sisters. After listening to the demo Jerry Wexler, an Atlantic Records producer, chose to place the song with their rising female star Aretha Franklin in 1967 rather than with Redding as he felt a women’s voice would do more right to the song.

"Raised in the South of France, Xavier Januario aka Oniris’ career to date has taken him from familiar settings in his native home through to the island of Mayotte in the Indian sea and onto New Caladonia and beyond. The result of this travel and its creative impact on his ever-evolving influences has been a string of releases on the likes of Ovum, Systematic Recordings and Josh Digweed’s revered Bedrock, where he released his debut production ‘The Rebirth’ back in 2013. Now five years on, here we see the French DJ and producer return to Astropolis for the third time, joining the likes of Slam, Madben, Electric Rescue, The Hacker and more, whilst Systematic boss Marc Romboy provides a remix to the title track.
Title cut ‘Odysseus’ opens proceedings as bright, spiraling melodies float amongst harsher metallic tones, whilst ‘Raver’ offers up a darker, more menacing production for the floor as shimmering hats meet driving sub tones and crisp claps.

Next, Marc Romboy delivers his interpretation of the lead cut, opting for hypnotic synth lines and powerful basslines to deliver an absorbing journey, before Oniris’ final original production ‘Borderline’ closes the package, keeping the intensity high as bubbling lead lines, bright stabs and a snaking groove go to work across the track’s eight minute duration.

Dario Rossi is an artist, drummer, percussionist and music producer.
He is one of the best known drummers in the world for the originality and uniqueness of his performances.
His music, and especially his way of producing it, represents an unicum into the electronic scene.
Born in 1988, he started making experiments with sound playing on various surfaces and objects obtaining sound, rhythm and music. Dario began studying drums at the age of ten, and then he enters the Saint Louis College of Music in Rome, attending the conservatory at the same time.
In 2011 he leaves for London, where he performs for the first time "on the street", playing a set composed of recycled objects: In a few minutes Piccadilly Circus is crowded by quite an amount of people amazed by Dario’s talent and performance, who at the same time surprised himself by the success of his own experiment. It was the first success, and the beginning of his current project and artistic journey.
Back to Italy, he performs from time to time in different festivals and squares, and in the summer of 2014 the video of his performance in Berlin (Alexander Platz) became viral on the web, receiving the attention of numerous international newspapers and television programs, among which he participated in "Tú Sí Que Vales" (Canale 5), "Soliti ignoti – il ritorno" (Rai 1), and in Germany "TV total" (ProSieben ).
After that incredible exposure, from 2015 his first European Tour takes place in all of the most important capitals and cities: Budapest (Sziget Festival), Amsterdam (Dam Square), Paris (Place de la République), Brussels, Copenhagen, Oslo, Prague, Ibiza, and Barcelona, where he performed during the Sonar Festival at "Platja de la Barceloneta", and later inside the "Plaza Monumental", opening to the performance of the well-known Dj "Luciano".
Dario Rossi is today appreciated by millions of people all over the world, among which also include important icons of the musical scene. He currently performs in clubs, theaters and music festivals across Europe, and in 2018 he produced his first official release "Alarm Clock EP", distributed on vinyl, cd, and digital downloads.
He recently developed his set with the introduction of synthesizers, samplers and electronic pads, with which he performs in real live-set / concerts where he plays live his productions, which meet the electronic music technology and the originality of his percussion.
His show is now more complete and exciting, and will soon be approached to the visual arts with the inclusion of LEDs, visual and video mapping.
