With a career spanning over three decades, Francesco Capodaglio has earned his place as one of Italy’s most dynamic electronic acts. A DJ, producer, radio pioneer, and cultural curator, he’s known for fusing sound with experience. His music has found a home on labels from Klaphouse Records to Sound Division, and found favour with the likes of CID, DJs from Mars, and Sugarstarr. Now, Capodaglio makes his debut on Junior Jack’s Adesso Musi label with the hypnotic new single, ‘Afrika’.

The spellbinding ‘Afrika’ opens with warm, rolling afro rhythms, detailed with soft shakers and organic drums. Mellifluous synth motifs ripple through the mix while jungle vocal coos and booming low-end raise the tension to make for an epic dancefloor escape.

Over the years, Oliver Koletzki has continuously cited Berlin as a point of reference and, more importantly, a source of inspiration. Two of his albums Großstadtmärchen and Großstadtmärchen 2 have been a direct ode to the capital. Friedrichshain, one of Berlins vibrant districts, has always held a special place in Olivers heat. This is where he started out when he first moved to the city, and this is where he lives now. Schneeweiss, one of Friedrichhain's best and most loved restaurants, is just around the corner. Over the course of eight years, the stylish eatery has impressed many a Berlin foodie with its contemporary take on alpine cuisine and attention to detail.

Music is part of the experience here, which is no surprise due to one of the owners extensive background in Berlins club scene of the early days. Pairing striking award-winning interior design with a homely laid-back atmosphere, Schneeweisswelcomes everyone with open arms: Kiez locals and celebrities, students and businessmen, hipsters and families all can be found here, Oliver Koletzki among them. Two prime Berliner power duos bring their creative forces together in their first joint production, after having previously collaborated on remix duties. 
Emerging from a dark lair overpassing techno and house, Dirty Planet finds the artists putting their collective stamp on the dance agenda, with Kruse & Nuernberg bringing forth their knack for aptly crafted melodies and Mat.Joe packing up dancefloor heat through rhythm and percussion.
Seems Real kicks off with a zippy synth sequence that plays around a perfect balance of melody and seductive rhythmics. The eerie vocal hook sets a dreamy ambiance as the cut unfolds brimming with subtle bleeps.
Aside from the bumping bassline that surfaces from the get-go, another element that’s instantly felt on Dirty Planet is the panting vocal sample. Laying a nervous mood from the first beats, the track explores a variety of frequencies by the way of percussive alternations filled with claves and clangs. 
With its united production efforts, Dirty Planet offers up two strapping tracks that bypass the brain and aim straight for the body.

Hot Creations gear up to drop the eagerly anticipated House & Pressure from hot property Route 94. Echoing the excitement that surrounded his No.1 hit My Love, which shot him to stardom, the record has been in serious demand for months. Now finally ready for release he showcases his versatile skills as a producer over three heavy-weight tracks.

Rowan Jones aka Route 94 explains how he wanted to “put out three tracks that were diverse yet definitive.” Title track House & Pressure packs a real punch and contains the vocals from Joey Negro's classic Ride the Storm featuring Linda Clifford. The dominant female vocal on ‘House & Pressure’ combined with the force of the drum machines is a traditional element that people connect to the Route 94 productions. With ‘Crazy Bitch’ it’s a more of a big room sound, incorporating ghetto elements. ‘Dark Keyless’ is the complete opposite, creating a groove that aims to grab the crowd and let them loose.

This year has seen a succession of big releases and remixes from Route 94 that cement his place amongst the dance music elite including the recent hit Mind, Body & Soul on Crosstown Rebels. The talented producer first saw fame reaching No.1 in the UK charts with My Love featuring Jess Glynne. Keen to remain on the underground scene, he followed with releases and remixes on Leftroom, Defected and Hot Creations. Overwhelming success followed as he performed at the likes of fabric, Sub Club, Space, Ushuaia, DC10 and many more. With a wealth of new material still on the way and a hectic touring schedule in place, it’s clear this is only the start for the young artist.
