“My Snatchy EP was a result of me locking myself in my studio for 2 weeks until I had a full EP finished. Normally I'll spread my studio time out, but at the time, I had so many ideas going through my head, I had to get them down. As soon as I'd finished one track, I'd open up a blank screen on Ableton and literally get going straight away again. I wanted to give the EP a bit of scope, so Figo's Nose was a lot of nerding around on my hardware and creating something a little more electronic than normal. Snatchy and Wired are more my usual kind of sound, and I made Back On Track a real 'head down' kind of track. They've been working really well for me in my sets so I can't wait for the release!” - Dale Howard

Hot Creations are launching a new ‘Paradise on Earth’ DJ Mix series with the first instalment coming as a Mexico special from Paradise residents and label regulars Nathan Barato and Patrick Topping. Each mix is expertly crafted, fusing musical influences with exclusive new material alongside current favourites for your listening pleasure.

The first CD comes from Toronto-based DJ & producer Nathan Barato, an artist that has been on the rapid rise with releases on Cajual, MOOD, Relief, Saved, Circus Records, Defected and of course Hot Creations. Barato’s mix kickstarts with the sonorous opening of Derrick Carter’s ‘Where You at?’ soon venturing into big dancefloor movers like Moritz Piske ‘Dirt Cabana’ and Makam’s ‘Loletta’. Nathan explains, "This is the first compilation I've done, so I was nervous and excited when building the tracklist. I wasn't inclined to make a mix that was only bombs ...I wanted to express myself and show a different side of my sound.”

UK talent Patrick Topping has cemented his status as one of the most in demand names in dance music and this year completing his third summer as resident at DC10 in Ibiza for Paradise. Here Patrick showcases the sound and style of his sets with hi-energy from the word go. “This was my first time putting together a licensed mix and it was such a fun project. Most the tracks are older but I was also luckily enough to include some of my favourite unreleased tracks of the moment. Thanks to Oli Furness, Jack N Jerk, Sean Miller & Elliot Adamson for letting me use these. There are also 3 brand new productions of mine in here.” - Patrick Topping

Matt McLarrie returns to Daylight Robbery with the ‘Curtain Twitcher’ EP. After previously releasing on various imprints such as ElRow Music, Material Series, MadTech Records, King Street Sounds, KMS Records to name a few and making waves on DRR037 with his remix of Alex Ranerro’s ‘Tell You’, it is time to bring his sound to the label once again with two original tracks. Both ‘Curtain Twitcher’ and ‘SnoZberries’ are big and brash. With driving percussion and a relentless groove, both tracks pack a powerful punch.

Releasing between them on a number of labels including MadTech Records, Resonance Records, Cr2, Criminal Hype, Twisted Fusion, it’s exciting to see to see Mr Jefferson returning to the label with his remix of ‘Curtain Twitcher’. He takes the sound to a darker place and pick up the pace, a track that moves with a relentless groove.

Another return to the label with Ian Jay having already made waves with DRR041 ‘Be With You’ EP. Ian Jay has been creating a bigger stir than the turtle rap with his sound coming out on a number of imprints including Lost Records, Simma Black, Nervous Records & Love Not Money. He  takes the sound of ‘Curtain Twitcher’ to more housey paths, resonating a unique feel whilst still retaining the flowing pulse of the original.
