Umami ist unser Podcast Nr. 37.
Die beiden sind bereits einige Zeit unterwegs und haben sich mit ihren eigenen Produktionen längst einen Namen gemacht. Erst haben sie Berlin im Sturm erobert, dann sind sie in die weite Welt gezogen und haben auch dort schnell viele Fans gewonnen. Aber nicht nur ihre eigenen Tracks haben sie auf Lager, sondern auch Sets die sich gewaschen haben und einfach direkt ins Bein gehen. Das Schöne daran ist, dass die beiden nach wie vor eine sehr offene und herzlich Art an sich haben. Das merkt man sofort wenn man ihnen gegenüber steht. Keine Allüren, keine Getue, einfach ganz natürlich und sichtlich dankbar für das, was ihnen entgegen gebracht wird. Daher ist es uns eine ganz persönliche Freude sie hier mit ihrem Podcast präsentieren zu dürfen.

Sie schaffen es mit ihrer Musik das Publikum aus der Realität zu entreißen und auf eine Reise in eine andere Welt zu entführen. Seit über vier Jahren sind Sie nun schon als erfolgreiches Duo unterwegs und sind weit über die Grenzen der Republik für Ihren treibenden, melodiösen und verspielten Sound bekannt. Im Fokus steht dabei die Liebe zur Musik und ihre Wirkung auf das Sein. Das Handwerk hierzu lernte Saskia schon in früher Kindheit am Klavier und Alex in seinem Soloprojekt ‘Minimal Lounge’. Durch Releases auf Ihrem eigenem Label Underyourskin Records und anderen namhaften Labels wie Katermukke, Hanse Hertz und Plötzlich Musik hat sich das Duo mittlerweile einen guten Namen gemacht.
