For April episode, Entropy 熵 is excited to have @yearsofdenial as the special guest. Years of Denial will have their debut Asia live tour this coming June, with our 5 year anniversary party at @mihnclub Hong Kong as their first stop in Asia, followed by additional stops at Volnost Seoul, Loopy Hangzhou, and Elevator Shanghai. Their fresh new album on Veyl Records, Sucide Disco, is a masterfully combination of industrial music, Techno, and dark poetry. Their sound was once compared to something like Eurythmics meets Chris & Cosey with a techno twist. Unaffected by the current trend of fast bpm trance mxied with pop, Years of Denial's sound can be best described as slow, yet powerful and sexy, reminiscent of old school Berlin sound. Must not miss their rare performances in Asia this June!

ENTROPY//16 - Years of Denial

Originally from Brazil and currently making waves in Berlin's dynamic music scene, Paty Vapor is a multifaceted artist known for her roles as DJ, curator and event producer. 

She is part of the Italian label-collective Slow Motion / Wrong Era and co-founder of the female-focused event series 'Wisdom Tits & The Mad Express presents'. Holding a residency at the Berlin club Sameheads and at Blum in her hometown Sao Paulo, she regularly showcases her sound at the pinnacle of Berlin's venues, across Europe, and in Brazil, solo or as one half of the DJ duo Wisdom Tits alongside Caillou.

Her sets evoke an old-school nostalgia of the ’80s, weaving through EBM, Electro, and Industrial, smoothly blending with Synthpunk, Wave, obscure Italo and Belgian New Beat. Characterized by powerful kicks, bold basslines, ethereal synths, and enigmatic vocals. Paty Vapor's sonic tapestry is a captivating fusion of the old and the avant-garde. Blank Wave Guest Mix 109: Lvcerate

This months guest is Kutkh Jackdaw, a Scottish producer and DJ, now based in Brighton, whose productions and mixes take influence from a wide variety of different genres, from post-punk, darkwave and EBM, to synth, industrial and techno. He uses a range of techniques in his productions including a heavy use of inventive sampling, combined with extensive use of vintage 80’s hardware. 

Kutkh Jackdaw co-runs Brighton based event and podcast series Acid Reflux and is also a part of DarkDisco.org's operations team. Over the past few years, he has been spreading his unique combination of genres in cities such as Brussels, Berlin, Lisbon, London, Manchester and Glasgow.
